Rapper T.I., real name Clifford Harris, is out of prison and his first order of business is a reality show with VH1! Read on for all of the details.
Rapper T.I. was released from an Arkansas prison on Wednesday after spending almost a year behind bars for violating his probation.
With a fresh new outlook, he’s looking to team up with VH1 in a reality show. They say the new reality show will give viewers an inside look at T.I. being ”reunited with his wife and kids and thrust back into society at this crucial juncture in his life.”
A statement from the network reads, “Viewers have always connected with T.I. and we are definitely thrilled to show the next chapter of this incredible artist’s riveting life with this new series.”
The statement continued, “T.I. is such a multi-talented artist and actor, and though he has had some setbacks, there is no doubt he will use his considerable talents to get back on top of both the music and film business.”
This isn’t the first venture into reality stardom for T.I. You may remember a little show on MTV back in 2009 called Road to Redemption.
T.I., trying to make a mends for his past, tried to guide trouble teens to a better life, all while counting down his own road to prison.
T.I. is also spending the rest of his sentence at a halfway house. Interesting, right?
What do you think of T.I. teaming up with VH1? Should he take time to get it together out of the spotlight? The show is scheduled to air sometime in December.
