Dancing With The Stars on ABC contestant Chaz Bono, has been loads of support for his upcoming stint on the show. The latest, comes from famed discrimination attorney, Gloria Allred, but what does the feminist lawyer have planned? Read on to find out!
Chaz Bono has been stirring up quite the controversy, even though he hasn’t even started to show off his moves on Dancing With The Stars yet. Chaz has been getting outpourings of support, and the most recent is to come from famed discrimination attorney, Gloria Allred. According to TMZ, the feminist lawyer is planning on holding a news conference today at 10:30 PST to protest those who are trying to urge children not to watch Dancing With The Stars this season.
Dancing With The Stars has been deemed a “family show” by the network, but some folks don’t think Chaz Bono belongs on a “family show,” and have been protesting his appearance. The site says that “there will be dance and viewing parties across the country with transgender individuals and their supporters on September 19 – the night of Chaz’s debut – and Gloria will dance with every transgender person who wants to dance with her – but only at the L.A. party.”
Honestly, we don’t see what the big deal is about Chaz Bono dancing. Why is it not okay for children to watch him, but they can watch some of these women prancing around in next-to-nothing outfits? Yes, we get that Chaz Bono is not “all natural,” but neither are half these stars who have liposuction, facelifts, and boob jobs, so I guess children should be banned from watching anyone like that as well?
