The season premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went down as planned Monday night, but before the episode launched, the ladies weighed in on Russell Armstrong’s suicide — minus Taylor Armstrong. Read on for all the details…
Before the Monday night premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Bravo aired a special that brought Kim, Kyle, Camille, Adrienne and Lisa together (with some of their husbands) to address Russell Armstrong’s suicide. As suspected, Taylor Armstrong was not present when the girls gathered at Adrienne’s house.
The phrase “heartbreaking” was offered up a lot during the conversation and many of the ladies believe Taylor “wasn’t aware of the financial mess [Russell] was in.”
As for how they’ve been feeling since hearing the news that Russell was found dead on August 15 after committing suicide, Kyle Richards said, ”I think a lot of us have some guilt about not seeing this coming.”
She added, “For me it’s very hard to move forward because it is such a tragic situation and so many people have been left hurt by it. But as difficult as that is, life goes on. It has to.”
Some of the husbands spoke but the clip was very short and rolled into the neatest package the network could produce without ruffling any feathers. If you missed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere immediately following the short special, click here for a recap.
What did you think of the ladies’ thoughts?
