Although tonight’s episode of Big Brother 13 appeared to be just like a typical live eviction night, it wasn’t. All of the events that went down were actually recorded yesterday. Who won the Power of Veto and did they use it to save Kalia or Porsche from eviction? Who was booted from the game and who is the new Head of Household? Read on to find out!
Adam In The Middle
Amazingly, the guy who has floated from side to side this entire summer found himself right in the middle. Yes, Adam won the PoV and found himself forced to make a decision on which side to stick with. Kalia was brought to hardcore tears after losing the PoV competition. She couldn’t believe that her fate was resting in somebody’s hands who doesn’t like to get dirty. On the other hand, Jordan was nervous Adam was going to use the PoV, leaving her as the only replacement nominee — and the most-likely to be evicted.
Well, when all was said and done, Adam chose not to use the PoV. Despite Kalia’s push to get him to pull her to safety, it simply didn’t work.
Jeff Can’t Let It Go
At the jury house, Jeff was hoping Shelly would be the next person to walk in so he could get some stuff off his chest. Next thing you know, Shelly walked around the corner. She quickly admitted to Jeff that she was nervous to be there at the jury house because of the way he would react to seeing her. She stuck to her guns saying that she was at the bottom of the totem pole when it came to her alliance with him and Jordan. That’s why she chose to evict him. That makes perfect sense. She had to get rid of him because he never would take her to the final two over Jordan. Regardless of any loyalty to them, she would be toast by the end of the game. But Jeff wasn’t having any of it. Instead, he turned to his bullying ways. “You went with someone who breaks promises as opposed to someone who doesn’t,” he said angrily. Shelly kept telling him it was a decision she had to make for her own game.
When it came time for the eviction, which actually took place yesterday, it was a tie vote — Jordan voted to evict Porsche, while Adam voted to evict Kalia. Rachel made the deciding vote and she chose to evict Kalia. In her exit interview, Kalia said her worst mistake was always trusting the wrong people at the worst times.
Earlier this week, the Purple Room fortune teller broke her silence and asked everybody to gather around. Throughout the night, the fortune teller sparked to life and offered up goofy fates for many of the houseguests. Her predictions were the basis for the HoH competition. After six questions, Adam won the power of HoH for the first time this summer.
Which side will he stick with? Who do you think Adam will nominate for eviction? Who do you think will be eliminated from the house next? Do you think Adam deserves to win the game? Sound off and leave a comment below!
