Tonight, the top four acts from this season of America’s Got Talent took the stage one last time before one of them was crowned the winner. After last night‘s performances, was it Poplyfe, The Silhouettes, Team iLuminate, or Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. that walked away a million bucks richer? Read on to find out who the season six winner is!
America’s Got Talent kicked off the finale results show with Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. performing with one of his favorite singers – Patti LaBelle. The pair gave us chills with their duet! Next, 80′s favorite Def Leppard hit the stage with a performance of “Rock of Ages” and “Pour Some Sugar On Me.” Next we saw a performance by Cobra Starship, who were dressed in Team iLuminate gear, and not surprisingly, Team iLuminate joined them on the stage.
Next up on the America’s Got Talent stage was a comical performance from the “audition all-stars,” also known as some of the worst auditions of the season, including the guy who fell off the stage, and yes, he did it again! Then we got some looks at the comedy all season long from the judges, although Howie Mandel assured us it was all in good fun. The performances continued with One Republic. We also watched a performance by LeAnn Rimes with the Silhouettes.
Just as Nick Cannon was about to announce the next act, Jerry Springer came down from the ceiling to announce that all four acts would be getting a show in Las Vegas. Then we watched a performance of “Who Can I Turn To” by Tony Bennett and Queen Latifah. Poplyfe took the stage next for a performance with the legendary Stevie Wonder of his hit tune “Higher Ground,” and Poplyfe was much better than they were last night.
Next on the finale results show of America’s Got Talent was an entertaining performance by Cirque du Soleil. Nick Cannon hit the stage next along with the top four acts to reveal the fourth place act of the finale. After making us wait for what seemed like hours, Nick then announced that the act leaving in fourth place, as you may have already expected, was Poplyfe. America definitely made the right decision last night, kudos to the voters – I still think Anna Gracemen should have been in the finale instead of them.
With Silhouettes, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr,. and Team iLuminate remaining on the stage, it was time for more results. This time, it was one of last night’s “million dollar acts” that was going home, as Nick Cannon announced that the act who landed in third place was Team iLuminate! Wow, we did not see that one coming, I was certain this team would be in either first or second place!
Then we watched an amazing performance by Jackie Evancho, it’s hard to believe this girl is only an 11-year-old! Finally it was time to find out which of the remaining acts would be crowned the season six winner. Would it be Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. or Silhouettes? After dragging it out again for us, Nick Cannon announced that the season six winner of America’s Got Talent is Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.! Congratulations to Landau! Check out our interview with Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.!
