Hell’s Kitchen: It’s Finale Time Tomorrow!

September 18, 2011 11:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Last week on Hell’s Kitchen on Fox, we watched as Jennifer, who most of us thought would be in the finale, say goodbye. This week, the final four return for one last shot at impressing Gordon Ramsay enough to put them in the finale. With two hours of fun tomorrow, we can’t help but wonder who will be crowned the season nine winner!

Hell’s Kitchen returns tomorrow with 2 hours of fun, in 2 back-to-back episodes, one of which will be the season nine finale. Which one of the final four will be crowned? We can only hope it is not Elise. Fox is not giving us too many details, as they only stated: “The biggest test comes at dinner service, when Chef Ramsay judges the finalists’ leadership skills as each chef demonstrates how they would run a kitchen. The two chefs who survive this dramatic dinner service will lay it all on the line to prove to Chef Ramsay that they deserve the life-changing grand prize – a head chef position at the legendary BLT Steak in New York City.”

While we have no idea what will go down in tomorrow’s finale, Fox did give us some insight into our final four contestants, as each one revealed their favorite moment in Hell’s Kitchen, as well as what they learned from Gordon Ramsay. Below you will find some fun facts about the final four!

Will Lustberg

Favorite Challenge So Far: The Ugly Foods Challenge

Favorite Reward: When the Red Team won and went to Vegas for the night, even though I didn’t get to go, the dorm was quiet for once.

Least Favorite Punishment: Peeling Grapes

Favorite Moment in HELL’S KITCHEN: “The VIP charity dinner that we did for the American Humane Association and the American Cancer Society. One of my fellow chefs and best friends, John Lucente, unfortunately lost his battle with cancer and I have a rescue dog, so this dinner meant so much to me.”

What Chef Ramsay Taught Me: “It’s hard to narrow this down to only one thing, but if I have to choose, it would be to never stop fighting. The second you stop fighting for what you want, is the second you will go down in a ball of flames.”

Paul Niedermann

Favorite Challenge So Far: Salmon Challenge

Favorite Reward: Helicopter Ride with Chef Ramsay

Least Favorite Punishment: Doing Laundry

Favorite Moment in Hell’s Kitchen: “My favorite moment was when Chef Ramsay said to me, ‘Welcome back Paul.’ It just was a reassuring moment that I was on my way to greatness.”

What Chef Ramsay Taught Me: “The biggest thing that Chef Ramsay taught me was, not to be afraid to make mistakes. He told me, ‘I’ve made more mistakes than you can even imagine and it’s not what you did, it’s what you do to fix it.’”

Tommy Stevens

Favorite Challenge So Far: The Beer Challenge

Favorite Reward: The Sprint Cars

Least Favorite Punishment: Peeling Grapes

Favorite Moment in Hell’s Kitchen: “When I cooked my signature dish and my first compliment from Chef Ramsay was, ‘There’s finesse on the plate.’”

What Chef Ramsay Taught Me: “I learned too much from Gordon to actually list here, he’s a great chef and a pleasure to work with.”

Elise Wims

Favorite Challenge So Far: The Palate Challenge

Favorite Reward: Vegas!

Least Favorite Punishment: Delivery Day

Favorite Moment in Hell’s Kitchen: “My favorite moment would have to be the night that I held it down on the meat station. I was in rare form that night and felt that I finally had the brigade system down. Chef Ramsay let me know how impressed he was with me and it was a great moment for me as a chef.”

What Chef Ramsay Taught Me: “Chef Ramsay taught me to never give up and to strive for perfection in everything I do. He taught me discipline and, most importantly, to own up to your mistakes, and learn from them. Chef Ramsay is a great chef, a wonderful person, and he has changed my life forever.”

Who are you rooting for tomorrow? Be sure to tune to find out who takes the season nine crown!

I’m rooting for Will…although I would be ok if Paul won. I think they have truly shown themselves as dedicated and great chefs. I can say that if Elise wins, I will not watch the show again. She’s annoying and I find her distracting on the show. And Tommy, although probably a nice guy, kinda gives me the creeps…could be that he’s 31 and dating a 19 year old. Not sure :)

    I say…GO WILL!!!!

I love the show, i have watched every single season from beginning to the end. I can honestly say this is the worst season yet. Not only the chef’s are a joke but keeping that idiot girl on show’s this is only for entertainment. She should have been gone a while back. She is a desease in the kitchen and amongs the rest of the chefs.

Ramsey,I was about ready to stop watchin.g your show, because you kept Elise on. You redeemed yourself when you let her go. Ramsey you did keep her on way to long, shame on you.I hope that future shows that you stay above the drama and stick with what we feel the program is all about, which is cooking,Not a soap opera.Right? It would be a kitchen nightmare to go to a restaurant and see Elise walk out of a kithen, her being the chief
