Bravo star Taylor Armstrong is revealing for the first time how she explained her estranged husband’s suicide to their daughter Kennedy. Read on to find out how she explained Russell Armstrong’s death to their 5-year-old…
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills got underway as planned on Sept. 5, despite the August 15 suicide of Russell Armstrong.
While Taylor Armstrong has been tight-lipped and mostly kept shielded from the public, she is speaking in a segment set to air on Entertainment Tonight Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Among the things discussed, was how she told her daughter Kennedy about Russell’s death.
Taylor said, “I just told her Daddy got sick and he died, and that we could pick a star in the sky that could be daddy and that she could talk to him every night.”
Five-year-old Kennedy was not initially made aware of her father’s death.
Russell Armstrong hung himself at the home he was staying in on August 15 after what many suspect, became a depression over his failed marriage and money issues.
During the Entertainment Tonight segment, Taylor also talks about the abuse allegations that have been reported in the media.
She recalls of a moment during the abuse, “He grabbed me by the neck and shoved me against the wall and he said, ‘If you ever make my children a pizza without a vegetable again, I’ll kill you.”
Russell had two sons from previous relationships.
We recently reported that Russell Armstrong’s lawyer is calling the abuse photos and allegations a “hoax” via an exclusive with TMZ.
Right now it seems to be a big game of ping pong.
