Paris Hilton, of Oxygen‘s The World According to Paris may have had her show cancelled, but the star now has something to celebrate – she is off probation! That’s right, her case has been closed. Read on for more…
It’s case closed for Paris Hilton as a judge praised The World According To Paris star yesterday for her efforts and community service, and then closed her case, ending her probation. The judge stated: “The assessment here is that she understands the seriousness of the situation and the consequences of her actions,” as he praised Paris for working community service. Paris Hilton’s community service consisted of working with a graffiti removal company in Hollywood, a Vegas animal shelter and the “Race to Erase MS campaign”, all of which earned Paris Hilton well over the 200 hours she’d been assigned.
Paris Hilton did not have to appear in the court yesterday in front of the judge. Instead, as part of a plea deal that turned an arrest on suspicion of felony drug possession into a misdemeanor conviction for drug possession and obstructing an officer, Paris Hilton had do 200 hours of community service, pay a hefty $2k fine and complete drug counseling, all while keeping out of trouble for the year she was on probation.
Wonder what we can expect from Paris now – do you think she will stay out of trouble now that her probation is over? Do you think we will see her on our television screens again? Comment and share your thoughts with us below!
