Tonight is the big mid-season finale of the hit TLC show Toddlers & Tiaras. Taking place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the Storybook Pageant is ready to name a mini princess as they crown a winner.

The Toddlers & Tiaras contestants include Berkeley who is four has her routines down but the morning of the pageant, wakes up sick and her family realizes that she may not be able to go on. Alessondra who is nine, rocks her 80’s hair-do and long dress, deviating from the usual pageant attire. But Carley who is five and mom Melissa who tell a timeless story of perseverance and the strive for perfection going for the grand supreme title. Who will win? You will have to watch and see.

You will learn from the show tonight that you do not have to spend a fortune on pagent dresses for little girls when Alessondra’s mom, who has dubbed herself the “Frugal Mom” creates a gorgeous look for her daughter by reusing the slip from her own wedding dress, and purchasing her daughter a $9 dress for the pageant. If you were not already wondering why people spent thousands on a dress for their two year old daughter, you will wonder after seeing this video below.

I have watched t&t for a few years and have seen more than a few questionable actions by parents. Secretly, I like to think this show is actually a cover for CYS. I hadn’t hoped this more than when I witnessed the actions of Carlie’s mother Melissa from the Storybook ep. This woman seriously needs to be evaluated! The damage she is inflicting on this child is sickening. She said it herself, she’s truly living vicariously thru her child. I feel so bad for that poor little girl. To literally turn your back and walk away from your child while berating her in a roomful of people-it would have been less damaging to just have beat her. Shame on you! I’m just glad the whole world will see what a narcissistic wreck you truly are! Maybe you should spend your $30,000 on some psychiatric help.
