Two and a Half Men recently crushed Dancing with the Stars in the ratings war thanks to the tease of Ashton Kutcher’s new role. Here’s an interesting new report linking both shows. A report is saying Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards, who also happens to be a former DWTS contestant, turned down a $100,000 offer to appear on the premiere of Two and a Half Men. Read on for the details.
Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards, who is a past contestant on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, reportedly got an offer from his old show Two and a Half Men, but what’s the deal with her turning down the lucrative offer?
While she could have just sat back, appeared and took her huge appearance offer all the way to the bank, she reportedly didn’t.
Life & Style is reporting via an insider that Denise Richards was offered $100,000 to appear on Two and a Half Men’s premiere, with the insider saying, ”They wanted to bring back a real ex.”
The insider went on to tell Life & Style that it wasn’t easy to turn down the offer because “she really wants to get back into TV.”
If you missed the premiere of Two and a Half Men, the show opened with Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) funeral, which included some of his ex-girlfriends razzing the dead guy.
That is where Denise would have fit in, but the insider says, ”Charlie would’ve gone crazy, and Denise knows where her bread is buttered.”
Dancing with the Stars debuted strong with 18.6 million people tuning in, but that was nothing compared to the premiere of Ashton Kutcher on Two and a Half Men, which brought in 27.7 million viewers.
Do you think Denise should have appeared on Two and a Half Men?
