The pros, men only, of Dancing With The Stars hit the dance floor to kick off the show with a sexy dance. Tom Bergeron describes the dance best by saying, “they are available for bachelorette parties.”
Now time to get to the results. The first two couples called to the stage are; David and Kym and Carson and Anna. Tom announces that Carson and Anna are safe for tonight. It’s then announced that David and Kym are in jeopardy of leaving the show.
The judges decide which dance they want to see performed again and it’s Ricki and Derek’s jive.
Ricki and Derek shake it on the dance floor and give another great performance.
For some filler time, the contestants do a mock of MTV cribs and show off the DWTS studio. It is actually a very witty skit. The “crib” definitely follows the less is more philosophy when it comes to amenities. Then the first musical act for tonight hits the stage, it’s the Script, performing For The First Time.
The top three couples on the leader board take the stage next. Kristin and Mark, J.R. and Karina and Ricki and Derek await their fate. Ricki and Derek find out they are safe. Next Kristin and Mark learn they will dance again. Not to be left out, J.R. and Karina learn they will also be coming back next week.
It’s the season’s first Macy’s stars of dance performance. It’s quite the elaborate production, feathers and all, and the crowd loves it!
Three more couples are about to learn their dancing fate. Rob and Cheryl, Nancy and Tristan, Lacey and Chaz take the stage. Tom announces that Rob and Cheryl are safe! Rob is relieved that he didn’t get kicked off before his big sis Kim. Chaz and Lacey learn they are in jeopardy, while Nancy and Tristan are safe.
Before we can learn if the final couples are safe, the second musical guest for the night, Demi Lovato, performs. Demi performs her hit song, Skyscraper. It was a laid back, but pretty, performance.
The final three couples hit the stage to see if they will dance again. Next up we have Chynna and Tony, Elisabetta and Val and Hope and Maks. The first couple that will be coming back to dance is Chynna and Tony. Hope and Maks will also be returning to the ballroom, but Elisabetta and Val are in the bottom three.
So the bottom three couples are; Elisabetta and Val, Chaz and Lacey and David and Kym. The one couple who is definitely safe is Chaz and Lacey! Lacey looks stunned. Tom makes the announcement that this week, which isn’t true on all the shows, these are in fact the bottom couples in terms of total votes.
So which team earned the lowest votes? It’s Elisabetta and Val going home this week.
Elisabetta says goodbye and says, “It was a gift every day staying here.”
Did Elisabetta deserve to go home? Let us know what you think, comment below!
