This week on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars we saw some Jive and Quickstep performances, and though she did not have the lowest score, Elisabetta Canalis was sent packing after the votes. In her post elimination interview, Elisabetta Canalis kept it real by admitting that dancing may not have been her thing. More after the jump!
Dancing With The Stars fans watched and said goodbye as George Clooney’s ex, Elisabetta Canalis was eliminated this week after the votes were tallied. Elisabetta, in a post elimination interview with People Magazine, admitted that she was not the best dancer as she told the site: “Maybe dance is not my thing – I’m not going to lie. This show was challenging because I had to learn how to ballroom dance. I’ve never done it before. I hope to have learned something.”
Elisabetta Canalis’ partner, and Dancing With The Stars newbie, Val Chmerkovskiy did not disagree with Elisabetta, but he also thinks that viewers get hung up on their favorites. Val told People: “There are a lot of challenges for everybody. There were huge challenges for her. We’re a proud nation. We’re a welcoming nation, but [Americans] have our own idols and our own fan base. This show is about people who have huge fan bases. We can’t compete with that.”
