Kristin Cavallari Reacts To Her Departure From Dancing With The Stars

October 05, 2011 10:25 AM by Megan Thompson

In a shocking elimination, Kristin Cavallari and her partner Mark Ballas were sent home from Dancing With The Stars. Kristin is speaking out about her time on the hit ABC show and her surprise elimination. Keep reading for all the details.

Although Chaz Bono was at the bottom of the leader board, Kristin Cavallari and her partner Mark Ballas were sent packing last night. So what does Kristin have to say about her time on Dancing With The Stars? Well, Kristin told US Weekly, “I’m really sad. But, I’d rather go out on top and have people be shocked.”

There is no question the viewers were shocked by the elimination, the audience even booed. Tom Bergeron even mentioned that he thought people didn’t vote for Kristin and Mark because the viewers thought they didn’t need it. So what does Kristin think of her going home before Chaz? Kristin is a huge supporter of Chaz saying, “Chaz is so cute! I think he’s great and he tries so hard, and I loved watching him dance every week.”

As for Kristin’s time on the show she says, “It was the best experience I’ve ever had. I could not be happier that I did the show.” Plus, as an extra bonus she shared her butt and legs are more toned from all the dancing.

So what’s next for Kristin? Kristin might be reuniting with her ex-fiance Jay Cutler, who was in the audience to watch her perform on Monday. We will all have to wait and see if the two reunite and actually make it down the aisle.

So what do you think of Kristin leaving? Let us know your opinion, comment below.

I think it is absolutely crazy! Last year I swore I was never going to watch the show again – and yet here I am but after last night I really have had it. Neither one of the ‘bottom two’ should have even been up there (in the ‘bottom two’). I have no problems with Chaz Bono but lets face it, he can’t dance. Yes, he is trying and yes he is nice but this is a dance contest. He should have gone home last night. To make this a little more fair, I think the judges should have a larger say in voting. Kristin should not have gone home last night!

I think the show has become a means for pushing one’s cause. I thought it was a dance contest

Loveliest beauty in Hollywood. She will go on to to do more things.

Kristin was eliminated because her fans don’t watch Dancing With the Stars. This show is a popularity contest and the people who watched Kristin on The Hills and Laguna Beach are still too busy watching Gossip Girl or America’s Best Dance Crew. I think the voters for DWTS fall into the 30+ age demographic – the age group that considers themselves to have outgrown MTV and don’t even know who Kristin is. I was disappointed she was eliminated so early.

There has never been a worse “dancer” on this show than Bono. He is an embarrassment. He should do the right thing and just voluntarily take himself out of the competition.

I thought she was really pretty good – one of the better ones in fact. I’m also surprised she was voted off. Not really a fan this season.

I just like EVERYONE else was stunned at Kristen and Mark leaving DWTS. Clearly something went wrong in the voting. What else can you conclude. Maybe folks thought they were a shoe-in and as a result other dancers (at least 3 other dancers) should have clearly left before Kristen did! (in MY opinion)

What is so ironic is that I believe everyone watching was on an emotional high. The Monday dance show was one of the best that I have ever witnessed, so emotional with the dancers life stories. EVERYONE did their best that night! They were ALL winners!

I was shocked as were most people who watch every week,as I do. I truly thought they would be in the last 3 couples at the end. The voting needs to change before they lose a loyal viewer like myself.Mark is a great choreographer and hopefully will be back next season. Good luck to Kristen who performed like a true professional and got better each week.

BE FAIR TO THE DANCERS LET THE JUDGES DECIDE WHO GOES HOME AND HAVE A PANEL OF PRO DANCERS VOTE WHO STAYS AND WHO DON’T. THEY ARE BETTER QULIFIED
    TO KNOW.
NOT THE PUBLIC WHO VOTE FOR A POPULAR PERSON NOT FOR THEIR DANCING ABILITIES
