Survivor 24 To Be Titled Survivor: One World
October 06, 2011 07:00 AM by Ryan Haidet
Speculation when it comes to reality television is widespread and often filled with rumors and misinformation. However, an interesting post on a production company’s site revealed the likely title of the upcoming 24th season of Survivor, which wrapped up production several weeks ago. Read on to find out more!
If you don’t want to know any possible details about the upcoming season of Survivor, now is your final chance to turn away. While none of these details have been confirmed, there is a solid possibility that the information contained in this article is accurate.
Now that we’ve cleared that up…
With season 24 of the show using Samoa as the location for the fourth time, fans have been left wondering what CBS would call the latest edition. Well, here you have it… Survivor: One World. That is the title of the upcoming season of Survivor, according to a post on BigJoCam.com. The title was placed at the top of a resume showcasing the list of reality shows that Johann Oosthuizen, a cameraman, had worked on for the last several years.
The rest of his resume includes six other editions of Survivor stretching back to season 16.
Shortly after chatter of that post started making its way around fan sites, Survivor: One World disappeared from BigJoCam’s list of experience in the television industry. This, to me, almost gives us confirmation that Survivor: One World is in fact the title of the upcoming season.
As far as the twist for Survivor: One World, folks on Survivor Sucks, a popular spoiler site, say it will feature a cast of all new players living on the same beach as two separate tribes. And in the same vein as a few previous seasons, the tribes are expected to be divided by gender.
What do you think of the title and possible twist? Do you think this is accurate? Sound off and leave a comment below!

Survivor: One World should be where all the players are living on the same beach AS ONE TRIBE. Teams for challenges could be made up each time by random drawing.
Don’t divide by gender, age, or anything else. Let them all interact with each other from the start. This would be much more interesting, as alliances constantly form, disband, and shift. And it would be less predictable, too, as the numbers constantly shift.
Right now it’s so predictable. It’s basically a numbers game.
Take the current Survivor. Once the traitor Cochran aligned with Coach’s team, the only question left for the next few shows was which person on Ozzy’s team would be voted off. I’m sure that’s why they just had a double elimination, to do the inevitable and finish off the tribe so they could have at least marginally more interesting shows as the Upolu tribe turns on itself.
By the way: I hate Redemption Island. A very stupid idea, imo.

I’m sorry to hear that survivor won’t take place in a new location, but I’m excited nonetheless. I hope they bring back Redemption Island, because I feel that without it people leave the game too easily. Survivor: South Pacific had it perfect because the contestants got to fight one final time to stay in the game, which made it more exciting and fulfilling.
