If you have watched Bethenny on her reality shows, you know she views herself as an orphan. She doesn’t have fond childhood memories of her mother or her father. On her last season of The Real Housewives Of New York we saw Bethenny rush to her dying father’s bedside to try to make peace. No one from Bethenny’s immediate family was there for her when she got married or had her daughter, Bryn.
So what is her mother saying about her famous daughter now? In an interview with Star Magazine Bernadette lashes out about Bethenny’s marriage to Jason and actually takes credit for the Skinnygirl margarita concept! Yep, that’s right! As for Bernadette’s take on Jason, she told Star Magazine, “Right now, he is a good father, but soon she won’t need him and she will dump him.” She even went onto say that Jason is just too weak for Bethenny.
Bethenny’s mother must have been outraged (jealous) to learn that her daughter was number three on the Forbes’ list of Hollywood’s Highest -Earning Women. Mommy dearest is even claiming that Bethenny stole the Skinnygirl concept from her saying, “When she was young, her godmother, Eleanor Mogavero, would come and visit, and her drink of choice was a margarita. She was overweight, so I’d make her really low-fat ones. But [Bethenny] would never give anyone credit, it goes against her narcissistic point of view.”
Wow! No matter how you feel towards your mother, that has to hurt! Bethenny has not commented on her mother’s remarks. Maybe now that she has a family with Jason and Bryn, she just wants to forget about the past.
What do you think about Bethenny’s mother’s comments? Let us know your opinion, comment below!
