Adam Levine Attacks Fox News Via Twitter

October 20, 2011 07:38 AM by Lisa Princ

Adam Levine of NBC‘s The Voice is known for his strong opinions, and he has never had a problem voicing them. In the past few months, the Maroon 5 front man has bashed American Idol, the VMA’s, and just this week, Fox News. Adam Levine, once again took to Twitter to attack Fox News, but it also sparked some not-so-nice responses back at him. What happened? Read on to find out!

The Voice’s Adam Levine is known for his harsh opinions – opinions that he is never afraid to share via Twitter. In the past few months, we have listened to Adam bash American Idol, claiming they are anti-gay, while he also went to bash the MTV VMA’s. This week, Adam went on another tirade via Twitter, but this time his aim was at Fox News. Adam Tweeted: “Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f*cking channel ever again. Thank you.”

What triggered Adam Levine’s attack on Fox News is unknown, but his Tweet did not go over well with some folks at Fox. Hosts of a late night show on Fox News, Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy, were quick to respond to Adam Levine with some of their own not-so-nice responses. Greg Gutfeld replied: “Dear adam, That’s not music,” while Andy Levy Tweeted, “Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f*cking music ever again. Thank you.” We can’t help but wonder what sparked the angry Tweet, but Adam obviously has some issues with Fox – at least he’s still got NBC on his side!

The Voice’s second season premiere will take place right after the Superbowl on Sunday, February 5, 2012 and will then move to Mondays at 8 pm EST starting on Feb. 6! Are you excited for the show’s second season? We sure are!
