Brandi Glanville Stands Her Ground Against Richards Sisters

October 23, 2011 03:24 PM by Jackie Morrison

Brandi Glanville has responded with her thoughts on the Game Night episode on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The single mother of two has already endured public scrutiny after a bitter divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian. Now she has to deal with the bullying actions of Kim and Kyle Richards towards her on the infamous Game Night at Dana Wilkey’s home. During that incident Brandi Glanville had to deal with comments from Kim Richards about not wanting her to be on their team and later hiding her crutches. Other comments during the argument also included the Richard sisters questioning Brandi Glanville’s parenting skills.

Kim and Kyle Richards and hostess Dana Wilkey had appeared to have alienated Brandi Glanville from the group. When the tension escalated to what seemed to be a physical confrontation Taylor Armstrong went in between the women to break up the fight. Camille Grammer was empathetic to Brandi Glanville’s situation and tried to calm her down when the name calling began. Eventually the situation escalated to a screaming match that included name calling on both sides.

In her defense, Brandi Glanville stresses in her BRAVO blog that there was only so much she could and would take. First and foremost she calls herself as protective mother. In her BRAVO blog the former Mrs. Eddie Cibrian emphatically stated that she will not tolerate anyone saying unkind things about her children.

She wrote:

Do not attack my babies. Life has thrown me more than a few curve balls, and I can handle most of them — but talking about my children is crossing the line. At that point in the evening I had already felt both alienated and attacked. I was already very defensive and I had officially reached my breaking point. I’m human. There was only so much I could take and, to be frank, only so much I would take. I refuse to be anyone’s punching bag. I have had my fair share of heartbreak these past few years and have developed a thick skin, but I was beyond shocked to see such a gross amount of bullying from grown women. It was actually a little sad.

As for personal attacks on her, she stated:

I don’t care who it is: when someone attacks me (after hiding my crutches, might I add) and hovers over me with a finger pointed in my face, I will not run off with a tail in between my legs. So I don’t care who you are, if you attack me, I will stand up, balance on one Michael Kors wedge and push your finger out of my face. It’s just that simple.

Then she addressed the issue of name calling that the occurred during the evening:

I have learned many lessons in my life from my mama and this is one: When people call you a name, if you just agree with them it can help identify the root of the problem more quickly. It’s like, “Sure. What else you got?” So I agree with their unfounded name-calling and interestingly enough, they had nothing else to say to me. Hmmm. I guess it’s their issue, not mine.

The cause of tension between Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards is unclear but Lisa VanderPump’s reaction to Eddie Cibrian’s ex is more obvious. Brandi Glanville is friends with Cedric Martinez who was the former houseguest of Lisa VanderPump and their relationship ended badly. It has been rumored that Cedric Martinez is now Brandi Glanville’s own house guest.

Some are calling the Game Night episode another example of bullying. For her part, Brandi Glanville states that even adult women in Beverly Hills are not immune to it. Coincidentally, Kyle Richards posted a picture of herself on her website in a N8TE campaign which is an anti-bullying initiative.

I have been blessed. I have met people from all walks of life from places all over the world. I have met many lovely, respectable and extremely classy people that have lived in mobile homes. What about living in a trailer makes you trash? I don’t get the connection. While I grew up in a loving home, my upbringing was far from glamorous. I grew up with parents that taught me that bullying is an indefensible crime. I guess they don’t teach that to child stars.

Wow, what a completely unreliable and slanted report. I guess all the name calling that Brandi did was excusable huh? She was calling Kim a drug addict and she had never met her before. Also Kyle WAS NOT saying anything about Brandi’s son. What she said was Brandi was not “parenting” her son, and anyone who watched the show regularly knows that is true. She just let her son do whatever he wanted without any redirection. There is a difference between bullying and speaking the truth. A big difference and this country needs to learn the difference. Kyle Richards is a strong outspoken woman and in this society those women are called bitches or bully’s. If it were a man, no one would have said anything.

Besides, if you believe any of this is real even for a minute then you all are the idiots. Bravo stages all the “cat fights” if there were no drama no one would watch. They are probably really good friends when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Kyle is just jealous of Brandi, it is so obvious. Everyone sees it. Her sister Kim is obviously on some form of narcotic. Most likely Brandi was right when she said it was crystal meth. Which explains the bad breath (remember in last weeks episode she was accidentally using room deodorant spray) which meth is known to give you. And who in their sober mind would not notice the difference between breath spray and room spray?! Whey episode that goes by makes me dislike the Richard sisters, and Lisa more and more. Brandi was bullied by mean girls. She had every right to defend herself. Team Brandi!!!

“Kyle Richards is a strong outspoken woman and in this society those women are called bitches or bully’s” “Besides, if you believe any of this is real even for a minute then you all are the idiots.”

So which is it? Is she a strong outspoken woman, or is she Bravo’s puppet saying whaqt they tell her to say?

If you don’t like the way Kyle is portrayed, blame her, not Brandi. She started making fun of Brandi before they were even introduced. She made fun of her because her husband cheated on her. She made fun of her because she went out in a cast. She made fun of her for everything she said at their first lunch. Does she ever say anything nice about her? I haven’t heard it if she does. All she has to say about most people is negative, hence the negative public reaction towards her.

Brandi was accurate. Everyone knows Kyle’s sister is a drug addict! Those Beverly Hills housewives are a bunch of jealous, heartless, self-involved, self-obsessed hyenas. Brandi’s got it all over them.

Brandi has mentioned that the ladies think that someone is going to be replaced thus the bullying and bad behavior. I HOPE THAT BRAVO WILL REPLACE KYLE…… they don’t need eight Housewifes.
