The X Factor is back tonight with the start of their live shows, and next week, you will get your chance to vote! And just as rumors of a feud brewing between Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid have surfaced, L.A. took some time to dish on the show. Read on for more details!
The X Factor revealed their top 17 contestants last week, and this week we will head into the live shows. Next week, after the second live show, you will have your chance to vote before we find out who will be eliminated. Meanwhile, L.A. Reid is excited about the start of the live shows and says he is in it to win it – that sounds oddly familiar, no?
In a recent interview, L.A. Reid said of his contestants: “I think that my guys are very unique. I think, as an example, Astro being a 15-year-old rapper who entered the competition doing original material, as far as I know, now I could be wrong, but I think that’s a very unique approach and it may be a first. Phillip Lomax – for a guy to be 22 years old, and to have been so influenced by an era of Frank Sinatra and others, I find that pretty fascinating. Marcus Canty is just a great singer. And, Chris Rene, who is arguably the most popular contestant in the competition, is just really special and also entered the competition with original material and has this style that’s somewhere between singing and rapping.”
L.A. Reid definitely think he has the best contestants, do you agree? While he was certain that his group would be the best, L.A. Reid also said he is unsure on whether or not one or two contestants will be eliminated next week, since they are 17, instead of the original 16 that they assumed they would start with. Are you looking forward to the live show tonight? Which judge has the better group? Comment and share your thoughts with us!
