Ricki Lake Is Now Wearing A Size Six

October 26, 2011 07:40 AM by Lisa Princ

It’s no surprise that Ricki Lake is dropping weight on Dancing With The Stars on ABC, as it has been visibly obvious from watching her performances that the star is slimming down. Ricki Lake even told viewers on Monday’s episode that she was down 20 lbs already, and now she says she is wearing a size six! Read on for more…

Dancing With The Stars fans have been watching Ricki Lake top the leader board each week, and each week she comes out on the stage looking more and more fit and slim. On Monday’s performance show, Ricki revealed that she thinks she has lost about 20 lbs now, and she recently said that she now fits into a size six.

Ricki Lake told the Huffington post recently: “I’m definitely a size six now. I’ll probably be a size four by the end of it. It’s come to the point where it doesn’t matter. I no longer wear Spanx. I don’t have lumps where I used to. I will weigh myself at the end. I really like where my body is going. My waist has never been smaller,” when questioned about her weight loss and visibly smaller size.

Ricki attributes her fast weight loss to her vigorous workouts, which are normally 5 hours per day, but of course a healthy diet is also part of the equation. Ricki Lake said she likes to eat “oatmeal and vegetable omelets,” as well as other healthy dishes to keep her figure slimmed down. Kudos to Ricki Lake on her weight loss, she’s going to be rocking that wedding gown by the time she is done with the show!

I don’t mean to be disrespectful of “Ricki Lake” but she doesn’t look like a size 6.

I really like Riki Lake….However I am J.R. Martinez fan all the way. If Riki weighted 250 and has lost 20 pounds since the show started, that is great. But come on, there is NO WAY she is a size 6……She may be one day, but not now. However, she is a beautiful woman. Pounds shouldn’t matter so much, but it reality, deep down, they really do. I hope she is a size 4 when she marries….but I still hope J.R. wins the competition…lol Riki Lake.

Yeah, I agree with Morgandy. Ricki has definitely lost a lot of weight, but she does not look like a size 6, in my opinion. Unless she’s buying exclusively from a higher end clothing shop (I could never afford) who cuts sizes much bigger than average clothiers. To me she looks much closer to a size 10 or so.

If Ricki Lake is a size 6 the camera must add more than 10 pounds. She look more like a size 16 to me.

US Magazine shows pictures of Ricki Lake with her saying she’s been a size 10 for ten years and I wonder how stupid we are supposed to be and what her lying about it does to make those of us NOT the REAL size 10 or under feel like!
I was a size 6 at an athletic 125 lbs and over the past 3 years have gained 45 pounds – I still weigh less than Ms Lake AFTER dancing and I’m now a size 14 to 16 depending on the brand! I feel just sick about it, but then seeing pictures of someone larger and heavier than I am saying they are a size SIX makes me wonder if I’m really huge and someone is secretly photoshopping any image of me at night and altering our mirrors?? Go to mybodyimage.com, a wonderful website that can help woe. Get an idea of what real sizes look like . Also, if anything, the high end designers that I used to wear cut SMALLER than “everyday” brands – not larger. Once I hit a size 12 (at about 145 lbs) and a waist bigger than 32, every single place I had ever shopped no longer had ANYTHING that fit me. Talk about humiliation! Don’t make it worse Ricki Lake! Tell the TRUTH about your size.
