Survivor: South Pacific’s Semhar Tadesse was arrested a few days ago for DUI. According to TMZ.com, the 25-year-old, who was the first eliminated player of the season, blew a red light in Los Angeles and was then pulled over. When officers pulled her over, she stunk like booze, so they decided to give Semhar a field sobriety test, where she wound up blowing a .14. That is nearly twice the legal limit in California, which led to officers arresting her on the spot.
Luckily for Semhar Tadesse, she was released only a few hours later on $5,000.00 bail. TMZ.com claims that sources close to Semhar assure them that she could not walk a straight line due to a foot injury, not alcohol. But Semhar Tadesse, who has lost a close friend to drunk driving in the past, tells them that she takes full responsibility for her actions, and she truly feels bad for what she did.
Now, the question remains of whether or not she will be smart enough to keep from drinking and driving in the future. What do you think? Sound off and leave us a comment below!
