The Real Housewives of Atlanta are back on Bravo November 6 at 9/8 CT, and it wouldn’t be a new season of the Housewives without talking about who’s fighting with who. Last season, Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak had a friendship-ending blowout, but are Sheree Whitfield, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey also feuding? Yes: in fact, the “teams” have a nickname. It might not be “blondes versus brunettes” like The Real Housewives of New York City, but it is…
…”smalls versus talls”! Kandi explains: “The taller group of us hung out and the smaller group of us would hang out.” Sheree has said she is closest to Kim on the show, Phaedra has revealed that she and Kandi are close friends in real life, and @neneleakes regularly tweets that “Cynthia is my girl,” so those are the groups! Cynthia and Nene are the tallest, followed by Kim and Sheree, and Kandi and Phaedra.
Nene and Sheree were friends before the show and have retained their friendship to varying degrees on the show, but that appears to be no longer true. Sheree claims Nene tried to “pull money” from her after an appearance and is fed up with Nene’s diva ways. She tells Sister 2 Sister Magazine: “NeNe has really changed. The fame has totally changed her. It’s gone to her head. She just feels like she’s bigger than everybody.” Nene would probably agree with the statement that she’s “bigger than everybody” because she regularly tweets about her ratings-grabbing ways. After Sheree, Phaedra, and Kandi appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, she tweeted: “@WendyWilliams had 2 invite all 3 @ 1 time because they boring as hell. I stand alone.”
