Adam Levine of NBC‘s The Voice is not one to keep his opinions to himself, as the Maroon five front man recently attacked Fox News, but Adam isn’t always so defensive. In a recent interview, Adam Levine said that The Voice is not in competition with American Idol or The X Factor, and he didn’t bash either show! Read on for more…
The Voice’s Adam Levine is known for his strong opinions, but this time the Maroon 5 front man shared them without bashing anyone! Adam Levine recently talked to CNN, where he told them that The Voice is not in competition with American Idol or The X Factor, adding: “They have their own thing and their own fanbase. We don’t really concern ourselves with those shows because we are The Voice. It’s never been about competing with those guys. It’s been more about co-existing and making our show the best it can possibly be.”
Though some critics will try and provoke a battle of the singing competitions, Adam Levine did not bite on this one, saying: “I think that speaks for itself as opposed to trying to get into some kind of petty battle. It doesn’t benefit us in any way and doesn’t interest us. I’ve never seen those shows in their entirety.” Do you prefer one show over the other? Or do you watch American Idol, The Voice, and The X Factor? Comment and tell us what you think!
The Voice’s second season premiere will take place right after the Superbowl on Sunday, February 5, 2012 and will then move to Mondays at 8 pm EST starting on Feb. 6! Are you excited for the show’s second season? We sure are!
