Kris Humphries may or may not have known that his wife, Kim Kardashian, was about to file for divorce, but some of Kris’ family members knew that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was not right for him, and that it wouldn’t last. Several of Kris Humphries’ family members have spoken out about the divorce, but what did they have to say? Read on to find out!
While we still don’t know for sure whether or not Kris Humphries knew the divorce was coming from Kim Kardashian, some of his family members saw it coming. One of Kris Humphries’ aunts was actually unsure the couple would even make it down the aisle, as she stated back in June: “It’s a miracle the relationship has gotten this far. I hope and pray that if God ordained their union that it will go on,” and she went on to reveal that some of the family members were not even told about the couple’s engagement until they heard it through the media, including Kris Humphries’ grandmother.
While Kris Jenner is busy defending Kim Kardashian’s decision, Kris Humphries’ father, William Humphries is standing by his son as he reiterated that Kris had no idea the divorce was coming. William Humphries recently told Life & Style magazine: “There was never a discussion about it – it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris. How could someone do that? Kris was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out!”
Both Kris Humphries aunt and father say that Kris is doing okay since learning the news, and that he has a lot of support from his family. What are your thoughts on this whole Kardashian divorce mess? Sound off and tell us what you think by commenting below!
