It seems some people have had enough of Kim Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian family. A petition has been created requesting that E! remove Keeping Up With The Kardashians from the network. The family has lost a lot of credibility since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. Keep reading for all the details about this petition to kick the Kardashians off TV!
For awhile it seemed the Kardashians were unstoppable, but that all changed when Kim filed for divorce so quickly after her extravagant wedding. Some of Kim’s fans questioned if the marriage was just a storyline for the family reality show. Kim has adamantly denied that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham. In a note to her fans Kim wrote, “I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have.” It seems some fans felt the roller coaster she was referring to was her own reality show.
Some Kardashian haters have banned together and now have a petition to get the show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, off the air. The petition states that the show is not what viewers want to see from the E! network and “enough is enough.” As of when this article was published there were over 66,000 signatures on the petition, which can be found on gopetition.com. The creator of the petition, Cyndy Snider, told Yahoo, “We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.”
The petition seems to be more of a forum for people to express their distaste for the Kardashian family, but we’ll have to wait and see how many signatures this petition receives. The E! network probably loves all the publicity – good or bad – for their top-rated reality show.
