The chefs turn up the heat in the kitchen during tonight’s episode of Top Chef Texas on Bravo. The 15 remaining chefs have to create tasty and spicy dishes using the hottest peppers possible! The hotter the pepper–the more money the winner will receive! Find out who creates the hottest dish!

The hotter the pepper the chef uses, the higher the value of prize money is at stake for the winner. Guest judges Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger from Top Chef Masters and Two Hot Tamales join Padma to taste the chili dishes. Paul is selected as the Quickfire challenge winner. In addition to winning $20,000; Paul also has immunity this week.
Next, the chefs are broken down into groups and find out they will be cooking chili for 200 cowboys at the rodeo. After going to the store to buy their groceries, the chefs begin the chili cook off. While they’re cooking, head judge Tom Colicchio surprises the chefs and shows up to check on their progress.
Later, the chefs head to the rodeo for the elimination challenge. The chefs take over the food court at the rodeo and take part in their own competition–the chili cook off. Guest judges Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken along with Gail Simmons, head judge Tom Colicchio and host Padma taste the chili. The 200 rodeo attendees also eat the chili and vote on which one they like best.
The green team–made up of Sarah, Chris and Chuy win the challenge. The black team served the worst chili and someone from the team will be going home. Padma tells them their task is to transform the losing chili into a winning dish in just 30 minutes. Beverly, Nyesha and Richie waste no time and run to the kitchen to begin cooking. When time is up, they each serve their chili to the judges.
The prizes the chefs are competing for include $125,000; a feature in Food & Wine magazine and the title of ‘Top Chef.’ After deliberating, the judges decide to send Richie Farina home; however he along with the other eliminated chefs have the opportunity to win back a spot on the Top Chef finale.
