The Biggest Loser ‘s Ramon Medeiros may have been eliminated this week, but when speaking to him, you would never know it. In a press conference yesterday, Ramon was far from down and out – in fact, he shared how much he is loving his life right now, and he is certain that he, or Jess, will return to win the marathon and possibly the finale! What else did Ramon have to say? Check out his interview below!
Question: You are so upbeat, can you share how you were before The Biggest Loser versus now?
Ramon Medeiros: Before the show, I kind of had the same attitude as I did on the show, but it was very fake. It was an act. I went into everything with a great attitude, but it was all totally fake. When I went on The Biggest Loser, I decided to change 100 percent, and I had a real attitude, a great attitude. Being there, I decided to take everything head on. The guy I look at in the mirror today is the guy I’ve been wanting to be for a long, long time.
Question: Can you tell us about your friendship with Vinny, and sharing that money with him?
Ramon Medeiros: Vinny is one of my best friends, that I have ever met in my life. I talk to that guy everyday. Sharing that gift with him was special, and the absolute best feeling. It was the best thing I could have done.
Question: What has motivated you to lose more weight at home?
Ramon Medeiros: You know, it had a lot to do with Jess. I’m still in the game. I’m coming back to win this marathon and get back into the top three possibly. That’s what I want to do. I want to come back, and there’s a lot I have to prove on that ranch. I’m a gamer. I came in to do a job, and I’m going to finish it.
Question: What is in the future for you, what are your goals now?
Ramon Medeiros: My goals are limitless. Jumping out of that plane let me know I can do anything. I wake up everyday happy. I will take on any adventure I could possibly think of – whether it be personal, health, or business. You know I am going to tear up marathon.
Question: How is Thanksgiving going to be different for you this year?
Ramon Medeiros: I am going to spend it with Jess. We are going to spend it with family, but also spend time exercising. We’re going to go on a 30 to 40 mile bike ride and get busy.
Question: Tell us about your own private makeover, why did you decide to do that?
Ramon Medeiros: I was getting kind of grizzly there, and it was time to make a change. I felt so much better about myself, and I wanted to surprise Jess with a anew look.
Question: What are your thoughts on the drama that went down this week between John and Antone?
Ramon Medeiros: At this point in the contest, it’s a game. You do everything there to win, no matter what – at any cost – and that is what John did. Antone saying what he said to John is just Antone’s feelings, maybe it will give him a push for those two to go head to head one of these days.
Question: Will you go back to being a tattoo artist?
Ramon Medeiros: Right now, I am soley focused on the task at hand – losing weight. I will always be a tattoo artist at heart, but I am ready to be a personal trainer and share my knowledge. Jess has the same mind set, we want to take everyone who needs the help head on.
Something tells us from Ramon’s enthusiasm, that he, or Jess may have already won the marathon (since it was taped already.) What do you think? Comment and share your thoughts with us!
