After filling up on last week’s special Thanksgiving serving of never-before-seen footage from the first 27 days of the game, tonight’s episode of Survivor: South Pacific will be packed with fresh goodies. There will be another three-way duel on Redemption Island and the Upolu alliance (plus Cochran) will be forced to turn on each other. What else can you expect from the upcoming episode? Want to watch a sneak peek at the Immunity challenge? Read on for more!
Tonight’s episode, which has been titled “Cult Like,” will feature Ozzy, Dawn and Whitney in our final three-way duel of the season. Just like the previous duel, two of the three castaways will be eliminated from the game for good. Although I’d like to see Dawn stick around, I would be surprised if Ozzy loses.
Back with the Te Tuna tribe, “A castaway tells a bold lie in hopes of gaining favor with his tribemates,” a press release from CBS teases. “At the Immunity challenge, one tribemate makes a big gesture to a fellow castaway. Meanwhile, an alliance member becomes a liability around camp.”
While it is a breath of fresh air with new stuff, the Immunity challenge is something we’ve already seen — featuring a pair of elements from different battles earlier this season (see video below). The first part of the challenge consists of the castaways tossing sand bags onto small crates, which Papa Bear and Christine already did at Redemption Island. The second half of the Immunity Challenge will feature the top two castaways from the first portion of the battle. They will each fire coconuts using a slingshot at three standing tiki targets. You might remember this is the challenge that Mikayla only used one hand to use the slingshot against her tribe’s advice.
Who do you think will win the three-way duel at Redemption Island? Who do you think will be voted off the Te Tuna tribe? Who do you think is going to win the entire game? Sound off and leave a comment below!
