Last week on NBC‘s The Biggest Loser, we said goodbye to Sunny Sinclair after makeover week, revealing the final four. This week, the final four went home, and then all of the eliminated contestants returned for the marathon. So, who made it to the finale? You may be shocked to find out! Read on for all the highlights!
The Biggest Loser returned tonight as the final four – Vinny, Antone, Becky, and John headed home before the marathon. All four were greeted by their loved ones, who were thrilled to see how wonderful and different they looked. Vinny’s homecoming was unique as he walked in on his band, Trailer Choir, who were performing a new song called Love Me First, which was perfectly fitting for Vinny’s journey and transformation. Next, the final four received their journey videos from Alison Sweeney, which they watched with their families and friends.
Emotions ran high during Vinny’s video, as his mom learned from the video that Vinny was upset over the fact that he felt she sat back and watched as his step father abused him. After watching the video, Vinny sat down to chat with his mom about his feelings, and she revealed that she was being abused emotionally during that time, and she admitted that she did not have the answer, which gave Vinny some closure. Antone’s family was so moved, that his wife and children decided to make the workouts a family affair. Antone was even bench-pressing his children, which the children thought was great, while he got the workouts that he needed.
Next on The Biggest Loser, Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince paid the contestants a visit. Bob Harper headed to Vinny’s house where Bob was thrilled to see how great Vinny looked, but was concerned about Vinny’s brother, who was also overweight. But that did not compare to the problem that Dolvett faced when he headed to John’s house. Dolvett found John completely focused on nothing more than winning the finale, leaving his wife to do everything. While this may seem ideal for the finale, Dolvett was concerned that John would not adjust to life while remaining on track. Dolvett shared his concerns with John and his wife, who both seemed to brush it off. Let’s just hope John does not gain all his weight back after the finale, like both Bob and Dolvett fear will happen.
Bob and Dolvett then did some last chance workouts with the final four, but Anna Kournikova was no where to be found – did anyone find that odd? I mean, we know she is not returning next season, but this makes it look like she was fired. In any event, the final four next met up with the eleven eliminated contestants as it was marathon time! All the eliminated players looked great, but Jessica and Courtney really stood out – you could tell they were working hard at home. During the marathon, Anna Kournikova showed up, to encourage the contestants, along with Bob and Dolvett.
Courtney took the early lead in the marathon, followed by Ramon and Jess. After a while, Jess started to get stomach cramps and asked Ramon to just go ahead without her, and Ramon wound up passing Courtney. In the end, if you haven’t already guessed it, it was Ramon who won the marathon and secured his spot in next week’s finale! Next, it was time for the final four to weigh in. At the weigh in, there would be a red line, with two people under it – no viewer votes this season, the two highest percentages would be joining Ramon at the finale. Here is how the final four weigh in went down:
from 323 lbs to 293 lbs (-30) total percentage of 9.29%
from 172 lbs to 162 lbs (-10) total percentage of 5.81%
from 314 lbs to 284 lbs (-28) total percentage of 8.92%
from 296 lbs to 267 lbs (-29) total percentage of 9.80%
That’s right, in next week’s finale, we will watch John, Ramon and Antone battle it out for the title of The Biggest Loser and $250,000!
