This week on The X Factor, we watched 13-year-old Rachel Crow head home when she received the lowest number of votes. Rachel, who has received an outpouring of support since her elimination, was rumored to be contacted by Disney, but they are not the only ones pursuing Rachel. According to Radaronline, Rachel Crow has recently been in contact with both Disney and Nickelodeon, a family member told them. When the website contacted Disney, a rep for Disney stated: “We can confirm a general meeting is planned with her and Disney Channel executives.”
The family member, who asked to remain anonymous, revealed that Rachel Crow is feeling the pressure of her father’s illness, adding: “Rachel’s dad has MS (multiple sclerosis) and he can’t drive his truck because of it, so he’s not going to be able to always work.” Apparently, Rachel’s plan is to take care of her mom and her dad, who adopted her, and the teenager is determined to keep going. The family member reiterated that Rachel is looking to inspire and help others, while taking care of her family. Whether or not she will head to Disney or Nickelodeon is yet to be known, but as soon as it is revealed, we will be sure to let you know!
Kudos to Rachel Crow – what an amazing and inspiring young lady!
