As we gear up for the new season of ABC‘s The Bachelor, we have also learned that Bachelor favorite, Melissa Rycroft, is getting her own reality television on CMT. The Bachelor‘s Melissa Rycroft has not had a dull moment since her gig on the show! From hosting The Bachelor Pad to getting married and having a baby, Melissa constantly has something going on in her life, and now she will have even more as the star has landed her very own show! CMT will be airing Melissa and Tye: A New Reality, reportedly in April, unless something changes between now and then. The show will follow Melissa’ life as a mother and a wife, and her move from Texas to Hollywood in pursuit of a career in show business.
On the series, we will watch Melissa Rycroft and her husband, Tye Strickland, try to juggle work, marriage and parenthood, all while being thousands of miles apart – will they be able to make it work? Melissa and Tye: A New Reality will be produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, who also produces shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and is set to run for 30 minutes each week.
