Tonight the chef’s head to Austin, TX where they find out their Quickfire will depend on tweets from fans on Twitter. The chef who wins will take home $10,000 but won’t get immunity during elimination time. The chefs have to concoct dishes with bacon, hash and finally a surprise ingredient–each chef has to give the other an ingredient to incorporate. Host Padma Lakshmi and head judge and Chef Tom Colicchio taste each dish the chefs prepared and select Paul Qui as the Quickfire challenge winner.

The chefs meet this week’s guest judge singer Patti LaBelle and find out they have to cook a dish in honor of the person in their lives who started them on their culinary journey. The chefs all go to the store to get the items they need for the dinner which they will be serving to the chefs, Patti Labelle and her friends.

During the judges panel with chef’s Tom Colicchio, Emeril Lagasse and guest judge Patti LaBelle; Sarah Grueneberg is selected as the winner! The judges choose to eliminate Heather Terhune.
