Kris Humphries was just re-signed to the New Jersey Nets this week for a one year, $8 million dollar deal. All Kris Humphries wants to do is put his marriage to Kim Kardashian behind him and focus on basketball. Keep reading to find out what happened when Humphries hit the basketball court.
Kris Humphries has had a rough year. The relatively unknown basketball player was introduced to the world on the E! reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as Kim Kardashian’s love interest. The couple had a fast love affair, which was all caught on camera. After only 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashian shocked everyone when she filed for divorce. Instead of a divorce, Kris Humphries is looking to annul his marriage and move on with his life.
Kris has told everyone he just wants to focus his efforts on playing basketball. Just this week, Kris was re-signed with the New Jersey Nets and played his first game last night. Let’s just say it wasn’t the homecoming he anticipated. The moment the 26 year-old stepped on the court he was heckled by the fans. An attendee of the game told US Weekly that the crowd was even chanting “Reggie Bush,” which of course is Kim’s ex-flame. The commentator even remarked about the booing saying,”That was not a smattering of boos, that’s ‘villain in the Garden’ kind of booing.” Al Trautwig even went onto say, “He is the most hated man in the NBA.”
So what did Kris have to say about all this heckling? After the game Kris told ESPN, “I don’t know…I felt like Rudy out there…I was so focused on the game, I couldn’t hear that.”
