On the last season of The Rachel Zoe Project, fashion fans watched the workaholic mother-to-be Rachel Zoe juggle client fittings, brand promotions and the launch of her own line, all while combating comments from the press regarding the exit of former styling assistant Brad Goreski. We thought he was a jerk for learning the ins and outs of the Los Angeles styling world from Rachel, only to steal her A-list clients and start styling on his own, right? Well, now it’s Brad’s turn to clear his name (more like make a name for himself altogether): It’s a Brad, Brad World premieres on Bravo next week, and after discovering more about the show, we’re a little too excited about it.
According to Bravo, It’s A Brad, Brad World follows Brad Goreski through the excitement of embarking out on his own and making a name for himself in the glimmering, cutthroat world of fashion styling. However, the preview probably says otherwise, as it’s painful to watch so many beautiful gowns hang on rolling racks scattered throughout his garage.
“I hope people see that there’s a lot of struggle,” Goreski told E! Online. “I think people thought it was an instant rocket to stardom, but it’s been a lot of work. It’s been a lot of f–king work.”
Oh, and and in true Brad fashion, there’s destined to be a lot of crying onscreen.
“I cry way more than I think anybody could ever expect—way more than Bethenny [Frankel] ever did,” Goreski said. “I saw her and she was like, ‘How many TPEs do you have?’ I was like, ‘What are TPEs?’ She said, ‘Tears per episode!’ Oh, God, it’s off the charts.”
Still, we’re excited to watch him style his one secured client, Jessica Alba, and also meet his boyfriend of ten years, Gary Janetti, television producer and writer for Family Guy and Will & Grace. Brad says that screen time is ”a really positive representation of a gay couple.”
It’s A Brad, Brad World premieres January 2nd at 10pm on Bravo. Check out the preview below!
