One mystery that wasn’t solved before the Jersey Shore clan left Florence, Italy, at the end of season four of MTV’s Jersey Shore was whether or not The Situation and Snooki really hooked up or not. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro sets the record straight on what he thinks happened between his two roommates.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino claims he hooked up with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi between seasons of the hit show, but Snooki, who was dating her boyfriend Jionni LaValle at the time, vehemently denies that anything ever happened between the two of them. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro thinks he knows what happened based on Snooki’s guilty behavior, “I think they hooked up, because you only get that mad and flip out that much when you’re guilty.” Snooki flipped out when The Situation spilled their supposed secret.
But Ronnie Ortiz-Magro also claims that The Situation only shared the information of his shenanigans with Snooki, because he was looking “for attention.” The Situation is known for being an instigator, and that side of him really came out in Italy. But Ronnie Ortiz-Magro thinks viewers will see a softer side of The Situation this season, “Everyone saw he was a villain, but hopefully [this season viewers] see he’s a pretty good guy.”
Season five of Jersey Shore premiered last night on MTV. The gang returned to Seaside Heights, New Jersey, where they seem back in their element with plenty of GTL (gym, tanning, laundry), girls, and drama. This season is rumored to be the last, although viewers certainly hope there’s plenty more.
