Who Do You Think You Are? Season 3 Cast Announced! Includes Rob Lowe, Marisa Tomei, Martin Sheen And More

The hit genealogy series from NBC that just discovered the roots of Ashley Judd, Gwyneth Paltrow, Steve Buscemi and more is back next month with a brand new cast of celebrities, each curious about where their families came from. Find out whose histories will be brought to light on Who Do You Think You Are? beginning in February, including a few comediennes, Oscar-nominated actors and a very decadent chef!
“We’re very excited about the stories we have this season,” said executive producers Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky in a statement. They announced the celebrity cast of Who Do You Think You Are?, whose family roots will be traced with assistance from Ancestry.com. The full cast is included below in no particular order:
Martin Sheen, actor
Marisa Tomei, actress
Blair Underwood, actor
Reba McEntire, country singer and actress
Rob Lowe, actor
Helen Hunt, actor
Rita Wilson, actress
Edie Falco, actress
Rashida Jones, actress
Jerome Bettis, former NFL running back
Jason Sudeikis, actor
Paula Deen, Food Network cook and restaurateur
“This fantastic group of people we have will take us to countries we haven’t visited before which is thrilling and gives us glimpses into crucial details of history that not only shaped their families, but our world,” the producers continued. “This is what we love about this series; it’s so enriching for us the viewer, as well as the participants and their families.”
The third season of Who Do You Think You Are premieres on Friday, February 3 at 8 p.m. on NBC!

As one who has done genealogy on my own families for over twenty years, it is a joy to watch others discover their ancestry……good or bad. I am so happy that Lisa Kudrow was able to sell this series. The only downside…. not enough time to explore both paternal and maternal sides.
