Phaedra discusses opening her funeral home with her mom, who is totally on board with the idea. Now the girls just have to convince Apollo that the funeral business is the way to go. Phaedra wants to have “funerals worth dying for.”
Cynthia and Peter head to salsa dancing lessons, but Cynthia is still upset with Peter for leaving her grand opening without telling her. Peter blames his disappearance on his dislike for saying goodbye. Peter is set in his ways and tells Cynthia that he isn’t going to change. “You can get off the train when you get to the next stop,” Peter tells Cynthia. This doesn’t seem to be happily married couple! “Things have to change, I’m not doing this anymore,” Cynthia confides to the cameras.
Kim and her boyfriend Kroy are unpacking the Versace china. Kim’s daughter is acting like a typical teenager, texting, and completely aggravating her mother!
Then onto Nashville where Kandi is looking to break into the country music scene. Kandi arrives at Jo Dee Messina’s house to share some music she has written for her. Jo Dee wasn’t too thrilled with Kandi’s song, so they collaborate on some new lyrics.
NeNe goes out to lunch with Marlo, NeNe formerly dated her boyfriend, to smooth things over. Nene tells Marlo, “he never saw my Hello Kitty.” The girls get along, laugh, drink and share their history. Marlo shares that “she has been arrested seven times” for violation of probation. NeNe doesn’t seem to flinch at Marlo’s past and the girls decide to go shopping together.
Sheree pops over to Kim’s house for a visit and to check out the mansion. Sheree brings over a yoga mat, so she can whip Kim into shape. “I haven’t bent over in ten months,” Kim yells at Sheree. The girls do some planks, while Kim yells out some profanities. Then Sheree brings over some kale and ginger to make a healthy juice for Kim. “It’s actually not that bad,” Kim confesses.
Phaedra drags Apollo to a funeral home to try to convince him to get into the business. “Get ready to see people get cut open,” the funeral director tells Apollo. “This is my passion, I’m very intrigued by the after-life,” Phaedra shares. The group goes on a tour of the funeral home. It is obvious that Apollo isn’t comfortable in the funeral home, but Phaedra says she could lay down and take a nap.
Apollo shows up at Phaedra’s work with some flowers and to discuss the funeral business. Apollo is nervous about dealing with people’s souls and the spiritual aspect of it. ”You are going to put the boom in the tomb and you are going to make a top hat rock,” is Phaedra’s response. “Okay,I’ll go for it,” Apollo finally gives into his woman.
Phaedra is happy that Apollo has agreed to the business, but he is refusing to touch any dead bodies.
The not-so-happy couple, Cynthia and Peter, head to their pastor for some words of advice. “Our number one problem is communication, Cynthia tells the pastor. Peter gets insulted when Cynthia refers to him as a dinosaur. Cynthia wants to come up with a plan, because the couple continues to fight. The pastor asks the couple to look at each other and say things they love about each other. First to go is Cynthia, who gives a nice list of what she loves about Peter. Peter doesn’t return the favor, but rather hesitates in his answer. Finally he says, “I love so many things about you… I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t love you.” Cynthia is pleased with the outcome of the meeting, but feels they both need a lot of work. The two end their talk in a loving hug.
