Christina Aguilera of NBC‘s The Voice is constantly getting bashed for her weight and curvy figure, but Christina revealed recently that she is confident with her body, as are her loved ones. Christina Aguilera also wants her message to be an inspiration for young women as she gears up for the second season of the show. Read on to hear what Christina had to say!
The Voice’s Christina Aguilera is always the subject of criticism when it comes to her curvy body, but rest assured fans, Christina loves her body. The blonde mentor spoke to People Magazine recently, where she told them: “Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny. As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need,” adding: “I have a boyfriend that loves my body. I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters.”
And being comfortable with who she is and her body, is something that Christina Aguilera hopes to pass along to all the season two contestants on The Voice. She went to add to the magazine: “Being in a position to coach these young women, I am happy to be able to share that with them and share my highs and lows. Being on the show, it’s a very good outlet for me.” Whether you love her or hate her, one thing you have to admit is that her confidence in herself, despite not being the “ideal size” is definitely an inspiration to women of all ages!
Season 2 of The Voice premieres Sunday, February 5th on NBC, right after the Super Bowl.
