Home, sweet home. America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon was released from the hospital and is on the road to recovery after suffering from mild kidney failure last week. Keep reading for all the details on Nick’s condition and to find out when he plans on returning to his radio show, Rollin’ with Nick Cannon.

“Nick Cannon was released over the weekend to be with his family,” a rep for the NBC reality star tells People. “He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers.

“He plans to return to his live morning radio show broadcast Rollin’ with Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW FM on January 17th.”

Cannon’s wife, Grammy-winning recording artist Mariah Carey shared news of the TV host’s condition via Twitter on Wednesday, January 4th, revealing that he fell ill during a family ski trip to Aspen with the couple’s twins Moroccan and Monroe (aka Roc and Roe).

“Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure,” the singer tweeted, posting a photo of herself curled up next to her hubby in his hospital bed.

Nick himself later announced that he was being transferred to a L.A. hospital, letting fans know that he was going to be “a’ight” despite the pain.

In another tweet it appears the funnyman was hinting that he was on his way home, as he posted a picture of himself getting a haircut with the caption, “Getting back to business.”
