It’s hard not to like J.R. Martinez. J.R. captivated Americans with not only his dancing, but his courageous war story.  This Iraq war veteran was burned over 40% of his body in a Humvee accident.  J.R. turned his tragedy into a success story, just by his will to be positive and live life to its fullest.

Martinez.  After winning DWTS, J.R. shared that he and his girlfriend are going to be parents.  Well there is more good news for J.R., since he just announced that he has a book deal in the works with Hyperion Books.  A Hyperion insider shared, “The book is set for a fall release and will be about triumphing over extraordinary obstacles through pure resilience.”

J.R. took to Twitter to announce the book deal to his fans and share that he was on the way to a photo shoot for the cover.  He also tweeted, “Muchas Gracias for the congrats on my first book deal.  No title yet & the release date is scheduled for this fall.  Have a lot of work ahead.”
