Ashton Kutcher Not The Only Celebrity Whose Twitter Account Was Hacked

January 18, 2012 09:26 AM by Shayla Perry

Ashton Kutcher‘s Twitter account was recently compromised by a pesky hacker, but the Two and a Half Men star isn’t the only celeb who fell prey to an online menace over the weekend. Keep reading to find out what other sitcom star had their Twitter account hacked, and how their way of dealing with hackers is similar to Kutcher’s.

This weekend, while Ashton Kutcher was getting ready to enjoy himself at the Golden Globes, someone else was enjoying hacking into the Punk’d creator’s Twitter account.

And Kutcher wasn’t the only celeb whose account was compromised over the weekend.

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet, who plays “Cam” on the Golden Globe winning sitcom found out that his Twitter account had been hacked when followers questioned why he was sending out messages about diet pills.

“My account was hacked. But any of you that took that as a chance to be a d–k can kindly see yourself out the door,” Stonestreet tweeted after the incident.

So how to deal with a pesky hacker?

It seems that Stonestreet’s solution is quite similar to Ashton’s, who issued  a clear warning that he was “coming for” his hacker.

“Hunt him down and punch them in the face,” Eric told Ryan Seacrest when the radio host asked what to do when an online hacker messes with your social networking account.

We wonder if there will be any Twitter tampering when Punk’d returns to MTV this spring…. That could get interesting!
