Sad news for Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer. The MTV reality star’s fiancee, Jeremy Calvert has confirmed that she recently suffered a miscarriage and is no longer pregnant with the couple’s first child together. Read on for more details on Leah and Jeremy’s heartbreaking loss, and to find out how the two are coping.
Weeks after news of her pregnancy went public, Leah Messer is now mourning the loss of her unborn baby with beau Jeremy Calvert after suffering a miscarriage.
“She was having bad cramps for the past two weeks, and then she miscarried,” a source close to Messer tells OK!.
The baby was part of the new life that Leah planned on building with Calvert, who proposed to the 19-year-old mom-of-two on Christmas Day. Now, the couple is simply focused on supporting one another through this difficult time.
“It’s a devastating experience, but all I can do is support Leah and take things day by day,” says Jeremy. “It’s hard, but we will get through it.”
This isn’t the first time Leah Messer has experienced complications during a pregnancy. When she was carrying her twins – Aleeah and Alianna, whose father is Messer’s ex, Corey Simms – Leah had to be put on bed rest after going into early labor at just six months.
