Big Brother’s Brendon Villegas & Rachel Reilly Gear Up for The Amazing Race

January 26, 2012 07:00 AM by Shayla Perry

It’s official! The cast of CBSAmazing Race has just been announced, and among the eleven teams competing for the $1 million prize in Season 20 are none other than Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly and her fiancé and housemate, Brendon Villegas (aka “Brenchal”). As one of the most infamous showmances in reality TV, there’s no doubt that Brendon and Rachel will be ratings gold for the long-running competition, but will the couple’s relationship last through the season?

They survived the Big Brother house, but will Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly still be going strong after traveling across 5 continents, 22 cities, and close to 40,000 miles together?

The reality TV couple everyone loves to hate has been tapped to compete in Season 20 of The Amazing Race, and though their love was able to withstand the competition before, this time, Brenchal will have some pretty tough obstacles in their way.

Facing one of the most difficult courses in the show’s history, Brendon and Rachel will be skydiving in Argentina, training with the Masai warriors in Tanzania, racing through Africa’s ‘Garden of Eden,’ and more. How’s that for pre-marital counseling?!

Tell us…. Do you think Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly’s relationship will survive The Amazing Race?

Season 20 of The Amazing Race premieres Sunday, February 19 at 8|7c on CBS.

This is disgusting news. I’m sickened to hear one of my favorite shows would stoop so low to allow this pathetic pair to degrade yet another show. Ratings gold my a$$. I refuse to watch more of that trash.

Despicable. I’m a longtime viewer of Amazing Race from day one and will not be watching this garbage. These two poison everything they touch and are without a doubt two of the sickest, slickest and skankiest people to ever be on TV, and that’s saying a lot. Shame on you Amazing Race for taking the best reality show on TV and turning it to trash just like this couple. My family and I will be watching something else every Sunday. Buh-bye.
