January 27, 2012 08:00 AM by Ryan Haidet

If you simply can’t wait for Survivor: One World to premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 15, the TV Guide Channel has a one-hour peek at the upcoming 24th season.  Set your DVR now because Survivor: One World Preview slams the TV Guide Channel this Sunday — Jan. 29 — at 9 p.m. EST.  What all can you expect from the preview?  What other dates will the special air?  Read on to find out and to watch videos from the set of the new Tribal Council and the first challenge!

As is typical of these TV Guide Channel previews, you can expect a full cast assessment from host Jeff Probst, a look at the first challenge and a glimpse at the new Tribal Council set (see video below):

Unlike prior previews for other seasons, this one will not be hosted by a previous castaway.  Instead, the special is hosted by Maria Sansone from the TV Guide Channel.

Here’s a sneak peek at the first challenge:

If you miss the premiere of the preview, TV Guide Channel has it slated for several other timeslots:

  • Monday, Jan. 30 at midnight.
  • Monday, Jan. 30 at 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.

Survivor: One World features 18 all-new castaways divided into two separate tribes based on gender.  The big twist?  Both tribes will be living together on the same beach.  This season, which marks the fourth time Samoa has been used as a location, will not have Redemption Island.

Will you be watching this preview?  Do you like the way the new Tribal Council set looks?  Who is your favorite cast member?  Who do you think will be the first person voted out?  Sound off and leave a comment below!
