Adrienne Maloof on Being a Mom and a Mogul

January 28, 2012 08:00 AM by Shayla Perry

“Being a mom is the most rewarding and hardest job in the world,” says Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof. And that’s coming from a woman with nannies and a personal chef! But it’s not all glitz and glamor for the Bravo celebrity. According to Maloof, regardless of the number of businesses she’s running, her top priority will always be her three boys (four, counting hubby Paul Nassif).

“I think my greatest success has been juggling a crowded business schedule with an active family life. It’s exhausting, but nothing’s more important than my kids. At the same time, I’ve got this legacy of family business to carry on,” Adrienne tells Babble.

That “family business” is more like a dynasty, which Maloof and her brothers have been running for years.

But you don’t have to own The Palms Casino or have your own shoe line to experience the dreaded “mommy guilt.”

“There’s always that guilt that all working moms have,” says Adrienne. “It’s something I struggle with, but I know that everything will turn out all right at the end of the day.”

Ironically, that’s something that Maloof learned from her dad. “I was fortunate to have an incredibly supportive father. He believed in me and that I could do whatever my brothers could do or even better…. There were never any limits placed on me.”
