She’s taking over, one business at a time, and this season on Bravo‘s Tabatha Takes Over, Tabatha Coffey is helping more than just hair salons. But since she can’t possibly get to every single establishment in the country (it’s okay, you’re safe!), the fiery Aussie is offering a few business tips for entrepreneurs everywhere. So what’s her secret to success?
“The number one thing is passion,” Tabatha tells The New York Post. “That drive will get you up every morning and make sure that everything is running well.”
But to keep things running smoothly, Coffey says that business owners must put in the time.
“You have to be present in your business,” Tabatha warns. “A lot of businesses are failing because people are not present. They expect everyone else to do the work for them and to take care of the business and do the right thing. Are people making sure the product is sold properly?”
We’re thinking the owner of Ripples bar who was watching his crew from home via surveillance cameras would fall into this category, but luckily, thanks to Tabatha, that’s no longer an issue for them.
Just like the fortunate fro-yo business that she helped with a little identity crisis they were experiencing.
“They were confused and lacked focus on what they really were,” says Coffey. “They sold frozen yogurt but they also sold coffee and these terrible packaged sandwiches. They just had so many things going on that it didn’t have any focus, so as a customer walking in you didn’t know what the hell it was.”
Oooh! We can’t wait to see how Tabatha deals with that one!
