Since season five is rumored to be the last season of Jersey Shore, it seems that the show’s production company is on the hunt for a new cast in a different city. South Boston, get ready to show your “Southie” pride for the new series slated for TLC!

According to The Huffington Post, 495 Productions, the same production company responsible for Jersey Shore, is producing a new series for TLC.

The company is currently in casting for the series, which is currently under the working title Southie Pride. The show will give viewers a look inside the homes of five South Boston (or “Southie”) women, as they work to make a life for their families and protect those they love most.

“Spend some time with the women of South Boston and you quickly learn that pride runs deep, family comes first, and that their friendships and rivalries are forever,” said SallyAnn Salsano, President of 495 Productions, in a statement. “And, their accents are wicked awesome.”

TLC has ordered eight episodes, and the series is scheduled to premiere this upcoming fall.
