The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills: Brandi Glanville Talks Reunion Drama

February 10, 2012 11:00 AM by Martha Zaborowski

She may not be a full-time Housewife (yet), but Brandi Glanville made her presence fully known during part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ reunion. Cases in point: Kyle Richards called her Angry Spice. Adrienne Maloof said she wasn’t being nice. And Taylor Armstrong pointed her finger at her and shouted “This is none of your business!” when Brandi questioned why Taylor had written a book about her husband so soon after his death. The drama continued to Watch What Happens Live during which Taylor claimed Brandi was causing drama because she “was dying to be a permanent cast member on our show.” How did Brandi respond?

After Taylor claimed on live television that Brandi was saying explosive things just to become a Housewife, @brandiglanville tweeted: “I’m not “dying” to do ANYTHING!! But let’s not forget someone did die.” The following day, Brandi posted her Bravo blog, further addressing the reunion. She says: “I had absolutely no intention of fighting with Taylor. I have tried to stay out of her business this whole season because I thought nothing good could possibly come from her situation. However when she brought up my personal business, which had nothing to do with her [her fight with the Richards sisters], I fought back.”

In regards to her fight with Kyle and Kim Richards: “I think the Richard sisters have a hard time accepting responsibility for their actions. . .Looking forward to next week where Kim blames all of her problems on me.”

She hopes Adrienne and Lisa reconcile: “I plan on playing peacemaker between Adrienne and Lisa. I think that Adrienne owes Lisa an apology, but it’s not something they can’t get passed. I believe on a show like this with everyone promoting different businesses, books, beauty lines, restaurants, shoe lines, diet drinks, etc. etc. it tends to bring the competitiveness out in the human spirit.” She might have some influence over Lisa; Lisa seems to truly like her. Lisa tells the Daily Beast a story about how Brandi saved a dog from dying, without cameras on, and thought how kind-hearted she truly is–even if she’s blunt and wishes to “wash her mouth out with soap.”

What did you think of the reunion once Brandi sashayed into the room with her ruby-red YSL pumps? Are you “dying” to have her be a permanent addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Absolutely love this woman! She’s got the moxy to shut the other women on this show down. She’s just honest and open and you can’t argue with that. She doesn’t have an agenda, like Taylor and Kyle. I hope she doesn’t let Kim ever get in her face again!

I was happy to see someone give it right back to Taylor. As awful as that sounds after a death she is dealing with, that gal is just plain mean. Brandi has every right to her opinion, esp about the one second book! Taylor is the one who is probably very nervous about not being asked back onto the show. There are quite a few viewers who’d like nothing more than to see her go-me included. She ruined this season & Bravo has heard it OVER & OVER…. I think Brandi shoots from the hip, but at least she’s honest. That is far more you can say about anyone of them sitting opposite her! I think she’s a great addition. Get Taylor off of this show, that’s all I am hoping for!

I will start by saying I think Kyle is the problem on that show. She is always commenting about every other woman on that show. She was nasty last season to her sister. She was rude to Branding this year. I don’t like het at all. As for Taylor, I think she is a phony and an opportunist. How can she claim to love Russell and then slam him. What is that going to do to the kids. She thinks of herself and that is it. When u see Taylor on the reunion, she doesn’t look like a mourning wife. As for Branding, I love her. She is honest amd true to herself. She puts those ladies in check. I hope she us back next season.

I’d rather she leave the show to either get her own show, or do film work/movies. She’s too beautiful for this type of work…famous for nothing. None of the other women, with the exception of the one and only Ms. Vanderpump, are attractive or talented and they’re not in the same league as Brandi, and of course, Ms. Vanderpump.

I love Brandi! The others are sooooo jealous of her b/c she is beautiful, halarious, and doesnt take their crap. She is so honest and to the point they cant take it….plus, helloooo….Kim is on drugs and is a drunk. I understand Kyle wanting to take up for her sister but Brandi is 100% correct and was not afraid of pointing it out when they were being total bit****! Brandi should have her own show=)

This is rediculous!!! Has anyone heard the proverb: Mere oppression may make a wise person act crazy”? The fact is, that although the world was privied to information on Taylor’s situation, no one has to deal with the emotional turmoil and anguish but her. A man chose to leave this earth and in the process left Taylor to fend for herself and her daughter. In hideous life situations, there is no right way to heal. If Ms. Armstrong could choose, I’m sure she would have picked a life of marital bliss with a non-abusive husband and father of her child than to have him die and write a book to relieve her pain! Brandi was tasteless and insensitive to make a comment on a situation which she (and none of us) will never ever understand.
