The Glee Project Winner Samuel Larsen Makes Glee Debut Tuesday!

February 12, 2012 10:00 AM by Ashley Lee

To all fans of The Glee Project on Oxygen: finally, co-winner Samuel Larsen will be joining Damian McGinty Jr. on Glee this Tuesday, which is a special “Heart” Valentine’s Day episode! Meet his character, Joe Hart, and watch a preview of the noteworthy contestant singing “Stereo Hearts” by Gym Class Heroes with Amber Riley and Chord Overstreet.

Larsen plays the role of Joe Hart,  a recent transfer to McKinley High. The Glee Project winner was reportedly supposed to play the role of ”a relative, I believe, of Puck (Mark Salling),” said Ryan Murphy back in September, but it looks like his character won’t be as controversial as Puck usually is…or will he?

Nevertheless, Larsen knows he’s in good hands.

“Ryan spitballs ideas here and there when you sing for him,” Larsen said back in August. “I know he looks at me as a Christian character that you wouldn’t expect to be a Christian character, which I love. I know he wants me to be the indie rocker that Glee doesn’t have.”

The Valentine’s Day episode, entitled “Heart,” will also feature Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell as Rachel’s (Lea Michele) gay dads.
