The Biggest Loser Drama Continues As Contestants Walk Off The Set In The Middle Of Taping

February 22, 2012 11:20 AM by Lisa Princ

This season of NBC‘s The Biggest Loser is supposed to be about “no excuses,” but it seems like it all about excuses and drama. As if all the drama last night was not enough, we have just learned that the remaining contestants have walked off the set in middle of shooting an episode, when another twist was thrown at them. No, we are not kidding! More after the jump…

We have just learned that The Biggest Loser contestants walked off the set of the show, while shooting an episode because they were unhappy about a surprise twist that was thrown at them. TMZ claims that multiple sources have confirmed to them that when the contestants learned that the show may bring back some previous players for another shot at the $250k prize, the current contestants threw some tantrums and walked off the set. The contestants apparently feel that it is unfair to them to allow anyone another chance at the prize that they have been working so hard for – and they are threatening to quit the show!

This group has got to be the most dramatic bunch we have ever seen. I mean, they are given this once in a lifetime opportunity that many of us aren’t, and they have the nerve to act like toddlers when this show is possibly going to save their life? To those of you who have been tuning in each week, you are probably not surprised that this group would act like this, especially with Conda the drama queen on board. TMZ goes on to say that NBC has halted production until they figure out how to handle the situation. Reality TV Magazine attempted to contact our sources for the show, but they declined to comment at this time.

While the details are still foggy, we are wondering if it is the possibility of Daphne or Adrian returning that has everyone up in arms? Regardless, this is the most ridiculous behavior we have ever seen from the contestants on this show, which is supposed to be inspiring. To be completely honest, I would not mind one bit if NBC stopped production for the remainder of this season and fired all of these contestants – none of them deserve $250K. What do you think? I say let them all quit and bring back all the eliminated contestants! They cant let this group of immature babies make up the rules of the show, that the producers job! Ungrateful people! Producers please dont give in to these people! Because if you do what would be next? Oh they might quit if you dont raise the prize to $500,000? Dont give in!!!!!

i could not have said it better myself…as a matter of fact that is about exactly how I have been saying it. I have stopped watching the show and simply read updates hoping so
etching has changed but obviously it has not. These people are absolutely disgusting unappreciative childish knuckle draggers… to treat their lives and other people the way they do is worthy of nothing – I hope the network does something about this because as far as I have been reading they are losing a plethora of viewers by the second…are those losers really worth losing your entire show over NBC???

After last nights episode, we will not be
    Watching Biggest Loser anymore. Hateful,
Racists people on what is suppose to be
A family show. They are so ungrateful it
Is pathetic. They all need to be replaced. I
Will be very disappointed if I hear any
Of those people win any money!!!

Let them go! Replace them with eliminated contestants, all of whom are more deserving of winning the prize than the whiney bunch on there now.

I agee that these people don’t deserve the money. Conda acts like a middle school mean girl. I’m starting to get concerned about my kids watching this show because of the bad behavior. This used to be an inspiring family show but these people don’t deserve any of the help they are getting. They should be ashamed.

Good RIDDANCE… I started watching Biggest Loser in 2005, when I gained 100 pounds during my pregnancy. I continued to watch it until now. I have lost 90 pounds, the show was an inspiration, and after I lost my weight, I credit the show for inspiring me to become a nutrition counselor and certified personal trainer. But that all came to an end this year. The contestants on the show are horrible, horrible people. The first episode, Conda gets thrown out of the gym. She accuses another contestant of cheating (when that contestant beat fair and square). She ganged up on Adrian and Daphne. If she spent half the time allotted working out instead of gossiping and eye rolling– she might actually GET SOMETHING OUT OF WHAT THE TRAINERS ARE TRYING TO TEACH her. Fire them all and get a new batch of contestants… Get people who are appreciative and will get something out of this.

I haven’t watched this show since the first season. I need some weight loss inspiration so I decided I would start watching it again. Wow am I disappointed! I say let them all go and figure something else out. It’s not their show just because they are on it.

Don’t they have to sign contracts saying they will not do this kind of crap at the start of the show?

  10. Wendy Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 2:46 pm

These people are showing all of the behaviors that I would never want to see in my own children. The show has brought people back before so who do they think they are? Spoiled kids that will get what they want or throw a temper tantrum if they don’t? If they don’t like the heat, then get out of the kitchen! I agree with the other comments, bring back those that have been eliminated and give the prize money to someone that will appreciate it!

I have watched many seasons of the “Loser” and have never seen such disgusting behavior by the contestants. I honestly believe that Conda is the cause of all the problems and although the show thrives on drama, they should have intervened. Adrian and Daphne were never given a chance once they returned. I admit that the two didn’t really deal with the other contestants in the best way, but they were treated so unfairly. I wouldn’t be upset if they ended the season, or as another post stated, bring back all the departed contestants.

  12. RA Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 2:54 pm

I agree. They should have been fired for throwing the weigh-in. These people are more concerned about the $250K than changing their lives. The only way the producers can salvage this failing season is to scrap all these contestants and start over with the ones that have been kicked out. They could have a multi-elimination based on weight loss and the ones that have been working hard at home, would undoubtedly replace some of the contestants on the show now. They need to bring back the red/yellow line to make sure that the ones who have earned their place on the ranch aren’t voted off by those fat little demons.

  13. Ted Elliott Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 3:11 pm

Drama???what are you people talking about? Thats what keeps the show on the air.Who wants to watch people loose weight?BORING!!Why do you think they let the feud between Conda and Daphne go on? Ratings!!! Hell they even egged it on.Adrian and Daphne was only brought back because they had a negetive when they lost at the begining of the season. They rolled their eyes…had that we are only black contestants..poor me attitude and they knew that they was not liked…so they brought them back to cause DRAMA!!!Last season sucked…no drama..Ratings droped so they changed things up.

  14. Kathy Lonergan Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 3:14 pm

Absolutely let them quit, it’s an answered prayer! I agree with what everyone has been raging about for weeks now, what a lousy, nasty, whiny group of people! The only reason I watch now is in the hopes that you-know-who will be eliminated and maybe, just maybe the show will have a chance to return to the inspiring, fun show it used to be. This is the best news I’ve heard all season, PRODUCERS HEAR US LOUD AND CLEAR WE DON’T WANT THESE CONTESTANTS TO REMAIN ON THE SHOW….DON’T EVEN GIVE THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN ANYTHING. They’re disqualified, outta here, buhbye now, Adios, Hasta Luego. Bring back contestants who embody the spirit of The Biggest Loser!

  15. redrock64 Says:

This is season has been pathetic. It seems these contestants aren’t worried about losing weight but are more concerned with drama and winning money. Get rid of them all and replace them with people whose priority is to lose weight and change their lives! The weight lose by these contestants is the worst of any season to date!!!

  16. Janis Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 3:34 pm

I am in full agreement with everyone. I have been watching the show since NBC starting showing it. This is a VERY disappointing season. There is not one contestant that I am excited for, and none have a great weight loss. Usually you have a couple of favorites NOT this time. I know a lot of people that have quit watching this season because of the unappreciative, horrible acting contestants.

  17. CJ Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 3:49 pm

Good bye AnaConda! I say no one will be sorry to see them go and give people who DESERVE it (eliminated players) another chance…that should open their eyes that they’re not as special as they think they are! Wait until they read the backlash online about their behaviors!

  18. CA Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 5:03 pm

People that are all up in arms over the “rules” haven’t been watchng. This is less about the rules and more about people behaving badly and entitled behavior.
They undoubtedly had an agreement going into this thing which they have now broken. The producers throw all kinds of twists into the reality shows and this is just one more. AND BL has always brought people back.

  19. erica Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 5:13 pm

Not only should all those people who walk off be fired, they should be have to return the several tens of thousands of dollars that have been spent on them with free lodging, food, and personal trainers for eight weeks!

  20. Alisha Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 5:31 pm

I don’t think race had anything to do with Daphie and her brother getting voted off. Daphie thought she was going to pull something on the rest of the team and it back fired on her. I didn’t care for either one of them after they were brought back. They both came back with an attitude and were trying to run the show.

As far as the rest of them yes they are all acting like babies and there has to be a better way to handle it than walking off set. Conda needs to go as well she is bringing to much drama a lot of which I think will go with her once she is voted off.

  21. lisa Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 5:41 pm

I really don’t think they should keep bringing back people. That has already been done, now move on.With that said, these people are suppose to be worried about getting healthy and losing weight and they need to focus on that.

  22. Kris Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 6:46 pm

What the h*** is wrong with these people? They are on the no excuses show, but they sure provided several excuses today. They are ridiculous and they should be ashamed.

  23. MGB Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 8:02 pm

I agree with what everyone has said…let them walk, sue them for breach of contract, and either bring back the eliminated contestants for a chance to win the $250,000 grand prize or start over with new contestants. I have quit watching this show as of last night because of the way this season has been. NBC ought to be ashamed of allowing and then airing these episodes of No Excuses. It shouldn’t be about the $ and really hasn’t been that in past…..it’s been about getting healthy until the virus of Conda and Kim have exploded this season.

  24. deg Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 8:11 pm

All of the red team are the meanest people to ever grace this show. Some on the black team are the same, I can’t stand a one of these adult babies! The most uninteresting and uninspiring group ever!

  25. Dcs Says:
    February 22nd, 2012 at 9:52 pm

Fire all of those who remain as of last night & bring the eliminated ones back. I would love to be on that show & go thru the training, lose the weight, & I would try to remain open to any curve that is thrown in the episodes. This is life…& that is why they are obese whiners…eating & pouting when things don’t go their way!

  26. Momma Lynn Says:

What is Conda’s full name? “Anaconda?” She is a snake in the grass. She has a manipulative, passive agressive (sometimes agressive) personality disorder that has not been dealt with well on the show. I’m very disappointed in the exibition of poor behavior, especially in her, this season.

  27. Sam Kay Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 6:44 am

Let them go,dont let this whiney bunch of back stabbers dictate how the show is run,I would be very interested to see who would Really leave if an ultimatum was put to them. They are all too greedy with no backbone to REALLY leave.I dont like this bunch anyway

  28. Christine Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 7:16 am

Who needs them anyways, the are ALL just tools of 1 bitter, venegeful contestant. Every season I usually have cheered for more than 1 person to win but I’m finished, done. There is not 1, black team or red team that stood up to the bullying behavior other than Nancy. She was the only contestant who called out Conda’s lack of civility and immaturity and see what happened to her? The red team sent her packing. Santa (Roy) was also a sound of reason, civility and maturity, he was gone even after losing 9 pounds. These people are pathetic, don’t deserve to be at the ranch. No thanks NBC, I say kick them off the show, bring back all the contestants who were voted off and allow them the opportunity to go back to the ranch and work for the prize.

These people treated Adrian and his sister daphene like trash! It looks like racism to me! Conda & Kim can lose all the weight they want but, they will always be UGLY,UGLY,UGLY inside. The only two, santa and his wife chris are the only one’s that acted like mature, caring human beings. If conda thinks she is a role-model for her daughter she is delusional. I have no respect for any of these contestants and This is NBC televison show, so i hope they do exactly what they planned on doing, and i hope that adrian or daphene comes back and wins the 250,000, if not them then santa or chris. These people are not losing weight like the previous contestants of other shows, so I am sure and HOPE that they gain every pound back, because people like his deserve to be unhappy! they all seem to love conda & kim the most two-faced people on this earth. I really think that Bob,Dolvett and Alison should be ashamed of themselves for not calling these people out on how they were behaving. They threw the last weigh-in, i absolutely can’t wait untill big Anaconda gets voted off!

  31. michelle Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 11:25 am

Do you know how many people would die to have Bob train them? Like he has time to put up with this crap. This should be a priviledge. Don’t they worry about their kids, their families, what they see? I would be so embarrassed! I think if you walk, go on strike, you are off the show. No excuses, right?

  32. Jessica Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 11:26 am

Well I still love the show and find it inspiring. It would be boring without the drama. All you who say the eliminated contestants are deserving are forgetting that most of them used the EXCUSE “I miss my family” and asked to leave so they are far from deserving! Yes the teams should suck it up and accept that things change it’s just reality tv. I’m personally cheering for Cassie and Emily they have both worked pretty hard. Lastly I think Conda had an eye opening experience at home and we will see better things from her. Can’t wait till next Tuesday!

  33. Scrapper Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 1:14 pm

As a trainer, I watch this show just for the comedic value. This season is an absolute train wreck. Conda, her ridiculous brother, and the obvious racist are a gang of cry babies.

Condamn is a manipulative, horrible, childish person who thinks that by insulting someone while keeping a level tone to her voice is somehow NOT insulting. Trying to say that she’s trying to be an example for her daughter. HA! How about not being morbidly obese at 24?

Her brother, who I nicknamed “Tassles” (watch the weigh-ins and you see what I’m talking about) demanded that people be held accountable for their actions from the first episode, then cries because he had to switch trainers.

Rascist Goatee spent all of his time criticizing Adrian for not losing ENOUGH weight. I’m expecting to see some kind of white power tattoo or something.

The former athletic competitor that follows Condamn’s lead in throwing the weight in and still gets to call her daughter! “Hey loser, you knew you were going to be gone for weeks, right? Why not make a video for each special event that you’re going to miss?”

The horrible, sheepish “gee I’m not real happy with my weight loss/gain” from the girl who read to Dolvett how much she hated herself was just pathetic. Maybe you should hate yourself because you are 1) spineless 2) manipulative 3) BAD ACTOR!

It’s sad to see that Mr/Mrs Santa and Daphne and Adrian left while those other whiners sit around and take for granted what most people would die to do.

Fire this group of losers and start over.

  34. Jessica Says:
    February 23rd, 2012 at 2:18 pm

One question. The season is usually a few behind what is shown right? Since they normally spend a few months at home before finale. Therefore isn’t it safe to assume they are down to 5 or less players now. Or am I off base.
It seems to be the norm the last few seasons that someone comes back so what is the shock anyway. Other than Conda the devil.

  36. Lisa Princ Says:

Jessica, I believe they were only about 2 months into the show when it began it to air for us. So, my guess would be 5 or so left about now.

  37. Stefanie Says:
    February 24th, 2012 at 12:04 am

Let the quitters quit. Are they bringing back people from this season or from a previous season? If they bring back people red team members who were civil like Roy or Nancy. Or some of the black team members especially Cassandra or Emily (Who are still on the show, but may not be by the time of the walk out.) who actually felt guilt for the thorn weight in. They knew what they did was wrong, but were probably thinking it was a way to lessen drama. I wouldn’t mind a twist that brought them back.

  38. Erin Manning Says:
    February 24th, 2012 at 10:05 am

I am sick to death of Conda and Kim. They are nasty gits and don’t deserve to be on the show. They drive the attitudes of the others and I am sick of them. Sick of Conda’s deceitful, two faced comments. And I am sick of Kim and her whiney voice, and her snotty eye rolling when she doesn’t agree with other peoples thoughts. I also think Mark is a piss-pour excuse for a youth pastor. So if they want to walk off, I say ‘don’t let the door hit you on your big posterior on the way out.’

  39. Sheri Says:
    February 25th, 2012 at 10:38 am

NBC, heed the warning. You’ve got more to lose and more at stake here, than these ungrateful contestants will ever have. Your viewers don’t need this, they don’t want this, and we don’t need to watch this. I turn the channel or fast forward through most of the drama. I can’t stand the hate. I have watched this show from the very beginning, and enough is enough. Negativity does not sell. Hate does not sell. And we are tuning out. Wherever you found Conda, ship her back. She is overweight and has too much hate inside of her, for anyone to help. You can’t do a personality transplant. Yes, she can lose the weight, but she’ll still be a _itch. Kim is the same way. You can show her tears because she misses her kids, but who cares. We are tired of all the drama. We are tired of all the hate. These two breed and exaserbate it and promote it. They instigate it and enough is enough. We are dropping like flies. We are disengaging from your show and that should alarm you more than these drama queens. Fix it please, or you are going to ruin a great show, that truly helps good people, those on your show and those who watch.

I have been a faithful viewer of this show since Season 3, and I have never seen more ugly behavious than what I’m seeing this season. Conda, Kim & Mark are all hateful, racist bullies who try to do their dirty work in the name of being a good leader. I do not like to throw around the race card, but their behaviour to Adrian and Daphne was absolutely atrocious. Let Kim not forget that she and her partner almost didn’t make it in either. What if the roles had been reversed? She needs to think about that. I used to be able to watch this show and be inspired, but no more… I don’t really know if I will continue to watch after this season…

  41. Teresa Says:

I didn’t watch the show tonight because of Conda. She is probably acting this way for attention. I only watched the weigh-in, that is the best part anyway. So only weigh- ins for me from now on.

  42. GiGi Says:
    February 28th, 2012 at 10:59 pm

How ungrateful can they be? They act like they own the show. Like they make the rules. You get a free trainer, food provided to you, education about fitness and health, and the chance to win $250,000. Let’s not forget years added to your life and a better quality of life. Even with all of that they walk out because they don’t like the new twist? You gotta be kidding me. It shouldn’t be all about money when you are morbidly obese. These people have been given a gift and instead of being grateful and saying “thank you”, they say “it’s not good enough”. So done with this season!!!

I’m sorry but I agree with the contestants…they have worked their butts off to get to the final and the others were eliminated for specific reasons. I do agree that Conda is a big trouble maker and should have been gone a long time ago. As for people throwing in the “race” card, well that’s bull… racism goes both ways and in my opinion Adrian and Daphne wasn’t any better… Let the final ones be, let the best man or women win…

  45. NiNi Says:
    April 14th, 2012 at 5:19 pm

I have to totally agree with many on this page, I have seen alot of drama here lately and yes it is for ratings but as far as RACISM goes… I know for a fact it goes both ways. I am from a Multi-racial family and each side and all throughout every neighborhood I’ve been in there is always some person or people that are racist. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, African and Middle Eastern… everyone has been taught at some point in life to not like someone for their differences and it gets old seeing and hearing about it!!! Grow Up!!! The men and women who have worked the hardest deserve to be in the finale. Conda and Jeremy have been big game players and Adrien and Daphne were just as Whiny and in the end still didn’t cut it. All you hear is the RACE card… but don’t you people see… Conda has a Mixed daughter so get over it!!!!!

  46. Felicity Says:
    April 14th, 2012 at 5:25 pm

I have been watching BL since the beginning, and I can’t stand this season. I don’t like any of the remaining players. I’m not rooting for a single one. I think the producers should replace any of the final players who walk off with players who have been eliminated. We all dislike the players that are left anyway, so isn’t that why they’re bringing back eliminated players in the first place? I just hope they bring back nice players like Emily and Chism, and not Kim or Kimmy. I hope the the ones that walk off are Conda and Jeremy. Those two are poison.

  47. Janis Says:
    April 14th, 2012 at 10:36 pm

I really don’t like the games NBC plays on this show. Just when things are going well, they do a total mindf— on the contestants. If they plan to bring people back then it should have been known from the beginning that they planned to do that. This show is about weight loss and these kind of games get in the way Get it together BL.

  48. Loserfan Says:
    April 17th, 2012 at 7:24 pm

The producers should sue them for breach of contract. As the attorney said, the contracts they signed said this was going to happen! Really? Did they think it was a joke? Make them pay the price of all they got up until they quit.

  49. Kath Says:
    April 18th, 2012 at 8:53 am

They all should all have been fired! They “deserve” to be there? How ridiculous! The only thing they deserve is to be off the show! They have an amazing opportunity that thousands tried to have but didn’t and then they have the audacity to behave in such a way…this season has made me sick to watch. Conda and Kim are the biggest bitches I have ever seen. Their behavior is that of a toddler refusing to share. The way they made the “white team” feel was horrific. The behavior of the five of them was disgusting especially since they know how the show works. Everyone knows that opportunities are there for the previously eliminated players and everyone knows they have to leave their families and yet they whine and cry about how awful and unfair the show is to them. Seriously? Get over yourselves! I fell off my chair laughing when the attorney pointed out that it was actually written in the contract! NBC should have made them all leave and they should have brought back the people who really deserve the chance! How ungrateful…didn’t they get a trip to Hawaii? Didn’t they get a trip to the White House? How selfish they were to not consider the impact quiting would have on their families. They went weeks and weeks without them so that they could live their dream…didn’t they deserve to have them finish the show? And I’m sure they all could have used the prize money! Perhaps they should have to reimburse NBC for the trips, the food, the training, the lodging, the makeovers and such! They make me sick!
