He helped Javier Colon realize his dreams in the first season of NBC‘s The Voice, and even though he’s already doing pretty well for himself in the music biz, Adam Levine reveals that there’s still at least one person in the industry from whom he could learn a great deal. Which star would the Maroon 5 singer want to serve as his musical mentor? Find out after the jump.
This season he’s tapped Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke to help him coach his team members to victory on The Voice, but who would Adam Levine want to be his mentor
“To mentor me? You know, [one] guy that I haven’t met, who was so hugely influential to me was Paul McCartney,” Adam Levine tells talk host Anderson Cooper. “I’m such a huge Paul McCartney fan.”
Despite Levine being a big fan, unfortunately, he’s never even met Sir Paul! Not even at this year’s Grammy Awards where they both performed?!
“I’ve been in the same room with him many times,” Adam explains. “I think mostly because we just haven’t crossed paths and it never naturally happened, but someday, I’d love to meet him.”
Hmm…. A Maroon 5 collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney? That we’d like to hear!
